5 Unknown Strains - 2012 Grow

So, on a 7 or 8 string guitar, they've added a lower, or two lower strings? Do you still need a bass guitar anymore?

Absolutely you need a bass! Added lower strings. Makes the possibilities endless with any type of music. 7 strings can go BEADGBE or any tuning combo you wish. The 8 strings are FBEADGBE but many tune the 8th to a F#. 7 and 8 strings are well used in Jazz also. Here is a master of the 7 string, 8, 12, 10, and beyond.

Im glad I havent had a prblem with any bugs/pest yet. I have SNS spider might control spray just incase. But i rather go buy lady bugs and and other insects that feed on those things. Really dont like the idea of spraying my plants.

FYI, lady bugs are not effective against spider mites. I spent hundreds of dollars trying to use them on a grow before. They don't work. Thrips are their preferred food, so they don't really go after the mites, and they are attracted to the HID and will kamikaze themselves on the lamps. If you do a little searching here, you will find discussions about them. If you really want to try to control them with predators, there is another kind of mite that is more effective against spider mites.

OK I went through my bookmarks and found the site I was trying to recall. Nature's Control - Beneficial Insects for Garden Pest Control
Check out that site. They have lots of info about which predators are best for which pests.

there is no dark side of the moon, really... As a matter of fact..its all dark

What about the side facing the sun? It's not any darker than Earth. :blalol:

I have to admit I have never listened to this album fully until now. Damn good. I was a child of the eighties and a huge metal head. One day a friend and I enjoyed ...a few small pieces square paper. he put the Movie " The Wall " on. Needless to say I have never been the same since! I love Floyd!!!!

I'm a big fan of Pink Floyd. I'm a little bit of an audiophile. I built my own tube amps and mostly listen to music with Sennheiser HD-650s. What I really live about Pink Floyd is how well their albums are engineered/mastered. It's interesting to go through their catalog in chronological order and you can hear the changes over time. I'm sure when they were first signed, the label didn't want to spend too much, but after they started selling albums, they were given the best resources and the quality went up. The first albums aren't terrible, but you can really hear the difference with Dark Side of the Moon. Obscured by clouds and relics aren't too bad, but by the time they recorded DSotM, their recording quality was second to none IMHO.

This is in contrast to a band like Led Zeppelin. Their first album recordings suck. They are horrid recordings. I can't even listen to Led Zep I on my headphones. I can tolerate it when I'm listening with lower fidelity components though. When I'm in my basement, I have a little speaker dock for my iPhone. It sounds great for me while I'm working down there, but nobody would ever mistake it as high fidelity audio. I'll listen to the albums on that because I can't hear all the imperfections. :)

I'll second the recommendation of Animals and Wish You Were Here. Those two have both held the spot as my favorite Floyd album at one time or another. :)

I should hand you guys the keys to my journal so you guys can drive. My gets alot more attention when you all come together on it. I really was just checking in and seeing what you guys were talking about. :thumb:

I know you guys are still waiting on updates. I can give you some teaser info until pics. The statsis clones rooted 5-7 days. Fastes Ive ever seen roots. A good amount also. Im still trying to get the temps right in the new grow room. Its been throwing off the feeding alot. I havent fed the 1 gallon coco plants in like 2 weeks now. But there still perky and all. Just not drinking as much. Im puzzled on that. Cooler temps I guess. Not to bad though. 65-80's

Did you add anything to the coco before planting? Did you take any pics and are they around the same age/health? If you took pics you can either share them here or ill go to your journal

just soak the coco 24 hrs in ro,,ph water..they are sprouts from seed same age..all on bpn 1/4 dose..

Thats the problen right there. RO water is a no no in coco. If you use RO water you will need CaMg along with it. Or as I do mix in bonemeal after soaking it in regular tap water with fish ferts & b-1. Coco strips calcium from plants roots, as well RO water. Calcium leaches to coco also. These are things thats not threatening if done right. As in using bonemeal or camg. I rather bonemeal because camg starts to build up in the coco.

well..how did i miss that info..i only added perlite..i thought the nutes would take care of the rest..gotta give you a rep for that:thanks:

Thanks buddy, no problem. Theres nothing to worry about though. Its cool to just use regular tap water after sitting out for a couple days. Theres lots of calcium in tap water. I just like using bone meal becasue it has everything needed to get great root system started plus the nitrogen. Plus its organic. My plants always flourished when I use bonemeal :)

Clones that were in stasis

Thanks Springs. Yea there best things out there besides the bubble cloner. I let them stay in the bubble cloner for about a week and then transplanted them in the rooters. Couple days later they had roots. I let the rooters soak in hygrozyme, b-1, voodoo juice, less then 1.25ml BPN 2part grow/bloom.

I shall try to take some bud shots later. magnetic ballast really messes with my camera

Hey Wiz. I'm new to coco and my youngins don't look as nice as I'd like. Can I just sprinkle some bone meal on top? Will that help at all? I have been adding calmag, but maybe not enough.

Those stasis clones look healthier than a lot of normal clones! Nice work :)
