There is not enough room in veg right now to get proper light for another clone. All the girls in journal 3 are taking up the light.

sorry im way behind in this conversation....but why dont you just reveg it and shock it and just keep it ticking along until you can make the space to turn it into a propper mother, make loads of clones, flower it again and hermie it then send all your peeps some of your very own seeds

LOL That is a good plan. When I give her a shave tomorrow I might find a way to take a small branch and reveg it. I might be able to squeeze another girl in the veg tent. Man and I though my plate was already full.

just bonsai that bitch. got room for a 2l bottle? just put an inch or two of medium in a 2l and plant it in that. tiny roots is a tiny plant. no need to mess with your current grow, if done right it can take a tiny space and hang about indefinatly.

Nope... Lol I do not think I am going to do it any way. I have a bunch of beans I just made. Some left from my first order and another order and I just ordered again so I think I will just let this one go. I have enough beans and will be taking enough clones for quite some time.... Years worth at this point.

Ill be doing updates on this journal on week 6 of flower. This is just week the beginning of 5. Everythings looking good including the 10 plants in veg. Gave them a dose of that Liquanox B-1 and Theyre thriving from it. All extra perky today I think the Cheese Wiz Kush is still stunted from that defoliation so well see what she does by next week.

Also the Cheese Wiz Kush has Indica leaves but grows spinny like a sativa so she might not produce so much since she didnt reach optimum height if its mostly sativa. Branches are a little thin to my liking so im not expecting to much out of her. Since I have 5 in veg I will grow them alot differently and longer veg time. She will be on the outsides of the scrog once thats up and running. So this journal will go in conjunction with my second journal hints the name "Meet the Relatives" including the kush's im waiting on

So get this, the HPS bulb was never screwed in all the way so it wasnt putting out full power. I found out from having to take down my lamp earlier and then I screwed it in all the way because it looked loose. I checked the LUX and it was way brighter. How messed up is that. For 4 week ive been cheating my grow

Im very ticked off about that. I will be checking every time I go to switch bulbs or even every other week just to make sure its tip top shape. Theres a huge difference in my flower room now

Yeah, I bet. I forgot to remove the plastic that is on the underside of the hood!!! Talk about dumb. I even reminded myself outloud to remove that thing. It put sout 10 more lux now, from a foot away than it did with it on, so 90,000 instead of 80,000. Pink plastic on the reflective side of the hood makes that much difference.

Crazy.

I want to do a test with a bulb with a mirror behind it, sheet metal behind it, white behind it, etc, just to see what increases the lux most.

That's a good test run. My electric store that's local sells magnetic ballast cheap so I'm going to be making my own hood to go along with it. Or I may have it going vertical

Stay away from mirrors as they actually absorb light. Also the can cause burns as they direct light at very sharp angles.
