5 Unknown Strains - 2012 Grow

Appreciate that Vick. I will be flushing or going regular water this week and start 4ml on the 4th week. Since there 3-4 months old plants im pretty sure and wondering can they go full strength, 5-6 weeks flower on regular schedule is 7.5ml and 5ml kool bloom so Ill be doing that. Ive givin them more than that during veg and they were able to take it. I think I was pumping 10ml in them. Not going to over do it though. I will finish this grow and next grow see how much i can pump into them with out them dying or burning.

Looking good Wiz the topping has certianly shown some good results with a lovely looking bush

I did notice tho that ya was using a MH for the first part of flowering tho on 12/12 before switching to DLR, thats more than likely slowed down pistil/early bud development due to lack of colour spectrum assoicated which encourages hormonely activity/change related to pistil/bud growth which you would find in a HPS mainly being orange/red spectrum.

Funny ol thing the colour spectrum & how it effects plant hormones


P.s I have heard of people using MH for the final couple of weeks of flowering tho but never seen a journal here on 420 or results of this method yet ? ( which is said to improve resin production - very strain related when ya think about it )

Other options are T5/cfl 6500k side lighting to splash a little blue spectrum about or track down a dual spectrum HPS brand or even a CMH.

Yea topping has done these plants wonders. I will top my plants more often as I really understand doing so with LST and even super cropping is and will bring out the and show the benefits of it. I'm looking forward to an awesome harvest this run, yes indeedy
As for the MH I was going to go with the CMH lighting but I just kept it MH. But it really hasn't stopped anything or slowed them down. They've been flowering pretty fast from the first week switched I seen early budding. I understand you on the resin production. It's the week I will be switching to HPS any way. So since me and you both never seen the benefits of using MH at the beginning stage of flower we'll both get to witness the magic of it. I'm pretty much just keeping the nods tight before the big stretch comes from using the HPS that's all. 2 weeks down 6-7 to go

Oh I just checked my calender and its today that I switch the bulb to HPS. So tonight when the iights go out ill switch the bulb and make sure I flip the switch on the ballast to sodium. Ill upload some pictures before lights out tonight

Quick little update. Today is week 2 of flower (ending soon) So ill be switching the bulb from MH to HPS when lights go off. Still running 12/12. Theyve gotten a bit more plump since the last update. And theres normal deficiencies occurring which is phosphorus but I think I may give them a light regular water just with additives (no Bloom or Kool Bloom) today. Then by Saturday I will give them another full feeding. So instead of 1 feeding a week I will bump it to 2 feedings a week. Im not worried about water logging or over watering since There is about 40% COCO CROUTONS mix with coco coir and organic soil. So it drys out pretty fast. Any who that is all for now. Now time for some porn

Some crystals and others are dust from my fan on the west end of the room. I have to clean the fan out today. I do a swift clean 1nce every week or so. I have to get a new fan with less caging. Im using a honeywell fan on the west end of the grow room and a double dual exhnst and intake fan on the east.

Nice! i love it when they start to put out there aromas in flowering atm i have 4 Nirvana wonder Woman in my flowering room and man the skunk smell that is coming off it is dam good, can almost already taste it

You're really going to see an explosion when you throw the HPS in.
I agree with Mutt about the fan, try taking the guard off. It will blow more effectively too.

Today I had an unexpected move. I had to move the whole grow into my shed because my bathroom is being remodeled and in order to cut off the water source in my bathroom you have to get into the closet where my grow was. So I got up early and started with moving the lamp and fixing up the outhouse for the plants. Then took apart the original grow room and cleaned it all up and put some clothing in there to make it look like a normal room. That was so much to do. Now my problem is if this takes all day the plants will have to stay in the outhouse over night and temps right now are 65 with the light on. So lights off will really put them under 40-30 easy. I'm testing to see if my furnace will keep the outhouse warm enough threw the night. I'm hopping. I also did. Little insulation in there to try to help it out a but. If worse comes to worse ill just turn on the green fog light and the heat from that will or should even it out a bit.
