I know what went wrong. I wet my soil real good when I planted the seeds in it. (Trying something new got me in trouble) Then the soil looked dry about 5 days later & I watered without checking pot weight as I had to leave for work. That's when I over watered. 2 are starting to bounce back. The other 2.... I'm not sure about. Not giving up on them yet though as I think they will turn around soon.Agree the little ones aren't looking good BB
I use BioBizz for the first few weeks to condition the medium and encourage root growth, then switch/mix A&B
Works for me
Your reveg looks pretty neat tho, good work
I've tried Bio Bizz. Everything died every time. I had nothing but bad luck with it. Never again ! I'll stick with my FFOF.Agree the little ones aren't looking good BB

1. Here you can find a hanging guide of the fold 8 light.I got the new light up. Put my plants in the closet during lights out so I could get it done. I wasn't able to use the Wire Hangers that came with it. No directions on how it goes together or how it works. First time I've seen this type of hanger. So I just used 6 Rope Hangers; which I like better anyway. The weight of the light is more evenly spread out this way & with 6 hangers if one was to break.... I doubt I'd have to worry. I'm sure the Wire Hangers work fine as they are pretty Heavy Duty looking. Just have to know how they work. I'd add this info to the owners manual.
One other thing I noticed & thought was odd. Why doesn't Medic Grow have their name on the light so when we take pics people know what light we are using ? It's just a Marketing thing so wont effect the light none; but it might get you some more business if people seen the name. Just a thought.
The size of this light fits a 4x4 area nice & snug. No doubt it will get good coverage. I can tell that just looking at it.
The Dimmer Switch has settings for 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF & EXT. I'm going to start with 60% & go up a little at a time as the plants recover. You can also Daisy chain several of these lights together.
I'll get more into details of the light this weekend. I'll be running some tests at different settings with my LUX Meter & checking LED Temp with a Laser Thermometer & things to that nature. I haven't done a detailed journal in a while now.
Should help make things interesting... I hope... lol.
It almost seems as if the bottom leaves are staying droopy and the new growth leaves are laying out more normal.Even tho theyre a bit droopy right now they look very healthy young ladies
Glad you like it so muchAnd now Ladies & Gents..... The Moment You've been Waiting For ! The unveiling of the New "MEDIC GROW FOLD 8 Full Spectrum 720 Watt LED GROW LIGHT". She is a beauty ! She comes securely packed with Styrofoam in a Heavy Duty Cardboard Box. The Light itself comes in a large plastic bag to help keep moisture out during shipping. I'm sure that helps in places with a lot of rain or snow. All the other goodies (Wire Hangers, Power Cord, Adapter, etc. come tightly packed in a smaller box). Here's a few pics to get started.
Anyway, I chose not to use the Wire Hangers (Not sure how they work)... but Medic Grow posted a link to how to use them. I already hung the light though so I'll just leave it like it is. I used 6 of the Ratchet Rope Hangers. Might be a pain to raise & lower, so I'm hoping to accomplish this with the Dimmer Switch. I keep my plants pretty short; but I may still have to raise the light some later. So here is the light hanging all pretty in it's new home.
I like to use these big heavy duty steel rings to hang my light from. Ace Hardware for $1.29 ea. I slide them over my hanging bars which makes my light slightly adjustable.
And of Course we have to turn the light on.
Wooooo is this Bad Boy Bright ! It's only on 60% in this pic. That's about how bright my other light was at 100%. This thing is way brighter. Starting to get excited about what I think it can do.
OK Girls.... Do Your Thing !
Thanks for your detailed review of Medic Grow Fold 8! Below is a distance chart for your reference."MEDIC GROW FOLD 8 Full Spectrum GROW LIGHT"
The Medic Grow Fold 8 is a Powerful 720 Watt Full Spectrum LED Grow Light. It has 8 LED Bars that consists of 2,800 Samsung LM 301Z+ Diodes. In addition to the 2800 Samsung Diodes there are 64 Osram & 660 nm Deep Red Diodes. The light Folds in 1/2; hence the name Fold 8. Fully opened the light is just under 4' x 4' & when Folded it's approximately 2' x 4' for easy storage or moving to a new place. The folded design also allows you to angle your light on each side to get the desired coverage you prefer.
The Driver is mounted inside the main housing. I did some research on the light though & found out the Driver is Designed by Medic Grow & Manufactured by Sosen.
The light is Dimmable in 20% increments (40 - 60 - 80 - 100 - EXT %). I believe the light was designed with a 4' x 4' grow area in mind; but can also be used in a 5' x 5' with good results.
Wow, you can Daisy Chain up to 75 of these lights together & run them off of 1 Controller. I can't even picture how big of an area 75 lights would take up.
The Charts show a High PPFD of 1944 umols. At 12" it is at 1385 umols & at 24" it's at 1056 umols. I imagine this is at 100% Brightness.
Does this light sound Impressive or what ? It all sounds just great to me.
So far I have a very positive outlook on this light. In my 3 days of using it so far things seem to be perking up in my tent. Plants seem to be enjoying it & I'm only running on 60% at the moment.
I did take some Temp & Lux Readings with my Laser Thermometer & DR. Meter Lux Meter today.
Then I took a Temp Reading of the LED Bars & The Main Housing where the Driver is housed.
I decided to check Plant Leaf Temp also, while I was at it. About 4 degrees too high; but once I turn my AC back on that will change. Had it off to dry my over watered pots. Goes back on tomorrow.
My Tent has been running at about 86 F with Light On & 79 F Light Off. RH has been about 35% Light On & 53% Light Off. Everything will all be dialed in over the next few days, now that the plants are recovered most of the way.
Thanks for adding the chart. I'll be moving up to 80% & lowering the light a few inches within the next week. I think they are about ready for it.
