5 OG's, Medic Grow Fold 8 LED, Prescription Blend Nutrients & Me!

That would be cool. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue on how to do those kinds of things. I'm lower, then Low Tech on computers.

Some cameras have an option on them to take a pic on a schedule over time. As an example say, 1 pic every twelve hours. I have one, may be something I will have to do next year in the journal of my green house grow. I would want to do this on an indoor grow on a tripod. Doing it outdoors would not be ideal conditions for the camera.

My camera does a lot of things. That might be one of them. Never read the manual. It's a $450 Fuji Film. Wish I could get a Canon.

I have a lot of Canon stuff it is all 35mm though. I even have a full set of darkroom equip. and color head for it.
I want a Digital Canon I can use my old lens on.

Hey all, I'll get this journal updated this weekend. Started a new job Monday. Father in Law passed away Tuesday night.
Harvesting like crazy & still have 3 plants to go. It's just been a crazy week so far... So bare with me.

I'll be posting the new "MEDIC GROW FOLD 8" (720 watt 8 Bar LED Light). It arrived yesterday, but I haven't had time to even open the box yet.

See you soon !

Hey All, Doing my best to get caught up on my journals right now. We will be there by tomorrow night for sure. My harvesting is almost done so the plants for this journal will be in that tent with the new "MEDIC GROW FOLD 8 GROW LIGHT". I'll be taking down my other light tonight at lights on & putting up the new lights. So there will be pics & info on the light by morning.

But for now, let's get up to date plant wise. So it's been 20 days since I planted the seeds. About 17 days above ground.
I've only watered twice so far & I did pH my water to 6.3. So far.... So good.
1 of the plants is starting to look hungry to me, so I will start the new "PRESCRIPTION BLEND NUTRIENT" Line Up on my next feeding. Debating on a Feed, Water, Water -or- Feed, Water, Feed, Water Schedule. I'll have to read up on their nutes to decide.

So without further ado.... Here are the 4 OG's.

Wont be long till these 4 are ready to Top.
The Super Silver Haze I put on the porch is still alive.... but hasn't grown at all. It's stuck on stupid. Glad I decided to pull her & do the Re-Veg instead.

The "Cherry On Top" Re-Veg seems to be doing A-OK so far. She's not dying anyway, which I see as a good sign. Sure hope she turns out as I have big plans for her. I plan to take about a dozen clones. 5-6 for my next grow. 1 for a Mother. And 1 I plan to STS for seeds; but may start an Aurora Indica to put in the room with it to cross breed it. I'll put these plants out in my Grow Shed to keep them away from the rest. All we can do is wait & see how things will work out. But I'm 90% sure it will.
Anyway, since I fed this plant Mega Crop last grow I'm going to continue just this Re-Veg plant on it. The other 4 will get the Prescription Blend Nutrients. So far she has been fed once. For Veg it says 4 grams per gal. & for Early Flower 5 grams. So she is being fed at 4.5 grams with 2 ml. of Cal Mag. She's getting the full gallon when I feed; but right now it's taking close to 5 days to dry out. I may cut the feed to 1/2 gal. & feed more often next time.
Here's a few pics of her from today.

Never done it but I would expect re-veg to take awhile to get going

Well, there's a hold up on hanging the light. It got damaged in shipping. Obvious from the box having a hole in it & crushed on the bottom. Not Medic Grows fault. Shippers just toss things around. They don't care.... like we do. It appears to be a nice light... if it wasn't damaged. Only thing I didn't like is the electrical cords plug. It has another countries plug on it & an adapter to make it work in the U.S. Adapters are a big No-No in my book. They need to include a cord that has the U.S. Plug on the end. Adapters are not safe to use when running this much power.
The light itself is extremely bright. I like that for sure. I think it's brighter than my current light even though it's 80 watts less. I'm waiting to here from Medic Grow to see if they want me to return this light so not hanging it yet. Anyway, the Plug is my only real concern about this light. Other than that, I think it would do a great job.

Well guys, to be perfectly honest I'm not sure what I'll be using Light wise. I have a feeling I'll be using my current 10 Bar 800 watt light though. The Fold 8 is crushed pretty good in the center where the Driver & Electrical Wiring is housed. I don't feel safe using this light after the fire with @Bill284 from his light. For all I know there's something grounding out in there & will eventually get hot, melt & start a fire. Medic Grow says it would take too long to get a replacement to me.
I requested a Return Shipping Label to send it back. Just not worth the risk to me. It's a real shame because it looks to be a good light; other then the plug adapter thing. I was going to have a U.S. Plug put on the end by an electrical shop to fix that though. Oh well, I'll know more by the end of the week.

Sorry to hear about the light. Can the housing be removed for inspection?

I might be able to fix it. Not really sure. Looks like the housing might come apart by removing some screws. If I was able to get it apart I'd have to take it to a Sheet Metal Shop so they could straighten it out some. Finding the extra time to do it is the problem. I spend 3 hours per day driving to & from work & work 8 hours. So 11 hours of my day is gone before I have time to do anything. With 2 journals, taking care of my plants, harvesting, a funeral this week & trying to fix the AC on my Mustang there's barely enough time to sleep... lol.

Hi All ! I've been talking with MEDIC GROW about the light & they are sending a replacement. Not a big deal that I'm not using it just yet as they don't need that much power yet anyway. Another week or 2 wont hurt anything. I just want to point out.... This issue is because of the shipping companies throwing things around. I really think it was ran into with a Forklift by the hole in the box. I've seen this many times before working in printing & shipping products to customers. So the hold up is because of the shippers & not Medic Grow. Medic Grow has been kind enough to ship a replacement & you really can't expect much better service than that !

The fold-8 is a beautiful, powerful looking light. Where are they made? Do you have a European distributor?

Thanks for your understanding:cheer:

I'm not sure I would attempt to fix it. They are after all sending a new one. Unless they want it back, I would disable it so it can't be used and toss it. You wouldn't want someone trash picking getting it and starting a fire.

If they don't want it back I would keep it for parts in case something ever went out on the replacement. But I think they want it back; so really doesn't matter.
