Agreed. People always try and chop early. This batch will be at 9 weeks on August 15th so I assume I have at least a full month to go because this strain usually finishes at 63 days in soil.

I hope they fatten up really nice.

My math is failing me.... so how many weeks do you figure you will let them flower? I think I'm going to do slightly early for my own stash (maybe 6 weeks depending on weather), just because I like the cerebral high and let the rest go a little longer for the pain stuff for the clinics.

I will most likely flower the indoor scrog for 9 weeks.(63 days)

I've grown this particular strain before and in soil that's when they finish so I'm assuming that the finishing time in this aero setup will be about the same.

The indoor scrog is on day 32 of flower, so I'm 1/2 way there.

As far as the outdoor grow goes: I know that I cannot base my outdoor finishing time upon the indoor finishing time so I'll just watch them and harvest when I think it's time.

Unlike you, I wait until the trichs are a little more amber as I prefer the Indica/couchlock high.

To be honest I can't imagine ever harvesting any bud at 6 weeks. I think that will be a complete waste unless your snottygirl, etc are VERY early finishers. The majority of bud development takes place between weeks 6 and 9 of flower for the strain I grow.

Love your Journal. I might have missed it, but can you tell me how you made your screen? I seen pics, but what sizes are you using on the PVC Piping and i believe you said you were using 2" Chicken wire is that correct?

still looking amazing. All my outdoor plants but one are flowering. Two are almost finished one has another 2 weeks or so. The one I put in the ground a few weeks ago just started to flower. And then there is my super lemon haze that haze been vegging for over 3 months and still has not flowered. Not sure what going on around here but no way to predict when they will start and when they will finish. Or maybe its just me. Probably the latter. Great job on your grow and you journal.

snottygirl indoors was 8 weeks to finish but from my experience with other strains outdoors they seem to be a bit faster, maybe it is the temperature drop at nights that speeds it up. There is a real technical paper out there somewhere, I think it is called the chemistry of cannabis or something like that. In it he claimed that the angle of light on the drops of THC played a big role in the conversion of some THC to TBC and in the speed at which that happens. He was arguing basically the differences in quality between indoor and outdoor. Way over my head but sounded good when I was stoned.

Man first off This is one of the best articles i have ever read on any site. Two green thumbs up from me and my other half. Your grow has also inspired use to create our own version of your masterpiece. I have purchased two 6"X10' pipes and a 55 gallon food grade barrel. I will have 20 places to fill. Thanks for a lot great ideas.

420fied, good think I got my drool bucket firmly attached, cause your girls are looking great! Are you going to keep to the feeding/time schedule for the aero you're running, or do you plan on any changes later on in the flowering?

Thanks for the kind words.I plan on using the 10 on and 30 off all the way till the end.

OK guys....

Heres the canopy at 35 days.....a little over 1/2 way there. The buds are starting to pack on some weight.

Here's a look at one of the tops. They have a touch of burn since I ran them a little hot but have since adjusted. They are super sticky/stinky to the touch and the leaves and buds are starting to show lots of trich development.

I'm going to go water the outdoor ladies later today so I'll have pic updates for all of you then.

Wow, that is lush in high gear. Mine never look like that; either no veg dwarf bud sticks or mutilated moms all under HPS. I am one sic propagator but lazy. Whusamatta wit a plant outdoor in the sun? Nothing wrong with yours, 420fied they're beauuutiful.
