I have been looking at LED's, but hard to give up the two 1000w HID's.
Been looking at the HLG 600H, powerful sucker for an LED.

At this point in time there is no "standard" in the naming of LED lights. That makes it a hard question to answer. For example, these two LED panels I have in my tent each draw 230 true watts at the wall. One of the manufacturers calls it a 1500watt (hid replacement) where as the other one claims 1800watt (hid replacement) . I have a couple Mars hydro 300 and they draw 130 true watts at the wall. The only way to tell is read deep into the description and find the true power consumption. Or just grab yourself a cheap watt-o-meter. That being said, I have the HID drawing 660 watts and the two LED panels drawing 230 watts each. How many actual what would 3 600 led lights be
True watts are how many watts the light is drawing at the plug when turned on completely (both switches if applicable). So if your light really does draw 269 watts, 3 of them would be 807 true watts.Mine say draws 269 from wall but it’s all bit confuseing what it’s true what is
Not much light then think I may need more light for my space
How big is your tent again? It looks 6x6 or 8x8. A good rule of thumb for LED in flower phase is 50w per sq foot or more (Im at 70w/per sq ft). There actually is a "too much light" level if youre not supplementing CO2 but I wouldnt worry about that, its a high number lol. Shoot for the 50 per sq foot or just over and youll be fine. Not much light then think I may need more light for my space

LOLBut I am supplementing CO2, every time I go look at the girls I start to breath hard, lol.
That puts you about 36 sq feet. With 807watts youre at 22 watts a sqft. If you put a 600w HPS in there youre at 39w/sqft. I would at least do that during flower. Veg time is fine with what youve got.My room is 2m x2m
36-41 sqft in your space depending who you ask how long a meter is haha.So I have about 50 sq feet am I right
I hear you there. I dealt with heat in the res for a while, then gave in and removed my res from the tent. Its just outside the tent now. Helps me regulate it a lot more.Just worried about the heat with hps as ressy will get warm
