Coco, or any other drain to waste hydroponics system is a lot of work. I feed most of my plants 2 cups (500ml) twice a day from late veg to harvest. I currently have a plant that needs a quart or liter three times per day. The addition of an automatic watering system has reduced the workload lower than that of any other growing system.

Indeed. Coco is too much work but I find it more efficient to grow in it compared to soil. Harvest really makes a huge difference. When I don't have time, I use soil too. But my last plant was drinking a gallon of water in coco and they produced lots of nugs in the end. I suggest using rockwool cubes with automatic watering or dripping systems.
