420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow

If laws were different I would be 420% on board with sending in a zip or whatever for an epic comparison smoke.. that would be really something.

can you say GSCOTY?

Well he said their breeders so unless they messed with the parenting these would be f2 beans??? If I'm correct about the f2, they mated regular seeds popped those then took 2 females crossed and got fem
No they’d be F1s. One female OGK one female DP, reverse whichever and hit the other with pollen. You’ve got OGK x DP F1 (GSC). Or it could be more elaborate than that... they could’ve been working this cross down to F7-8 then reversed their best keeper

Thank you brother, I really appreciate that. In no way am I asking you to do that, due to federal laws. However can you believe in almost thirty years of doing this, nobody has ever sent us samples from their gardens?

I know most people think I've got giant cannabis trees growing everywhere, but it couldn't be further from the truth lol

Once they change the federal law to allow it, you bet your ass I will.

I had to close my eyes and visualize how that might be possible. Within a few seconds, I can see how one would think you had electronic biometric hidden doors leading to an environmentally controlled laboratory, with a built in 10,000 square foot "Bud Bank", carefully preserving the dankest of the dank from secret societies who have carefully guarded magical hidden genetics from all over the world... :yahoo:

New to breeding , I thought I read somewhere anything past f3 could be unstable and u dunno which pheno u could get. I'll have to read up on that. So u can actually take a feminized and reverse back to reg?

The higher the F# the more stable. F4 and above is going to be pretty solid genetics if chosen wisely.

GSC isn't the most stable genetics likely due to the Durban thats in it's lineage.

The Sativa landrace will herm at 90 days or longer with any sort of stress.

Keep the low and inside cleaned up that will take care of it.

Thanks Brown. I do appreciate that. Would be nice to know what filial generation were working with here

The final is a 20? For od?
Final is 25, if they don’t make it into those this year they will for sure next year from the clones I’ll be taking. Those will be going into the greenhouse.
@Camaro1691 u say way more controlled due to indoor or PM?
More controlled in the sense that in previous years my outdoor plants have been wide open to the elements, but this year they will be in a over constructed GH. Last year I got the hint when I had to construct a makeshift watershelter. :rip:

The biggest problem we encounter with sponsorships are members biting off more than they can chew. It's fun and exciting to be part of a collective vision and make promises to join the group, until you have to back up your word with what you promised. It's pretty common for people to not want to do the journal after everything arrives, so they disappear without a trace. Sometimes real life issues get in the way, sometimes people just flat out get lazy. Sometimes they purposely violate guidelines to get banned, then play the victim and twist the story around just to save face by not having to say they are bailing on their commitment. So we like to get to know someone better before giving away too much, hope that makes sense.

If you want to fill the other rooms, maybe you could do like I suggested and create a mother and clone them out. The possibilities are endless for those who are creative :high-five:
I can 100% understand and appreciate this, and will be the first to admit I have gotten fairly lazy with journals in the past mainly due to feeling they lacked any interest from other members. And life will smack you down when you least expect it. Having lost my mother this Tuesday can fully understand that. I feel this sponsored grow fell in place at the perfect timing for me as it’s keeping my focus and drive going thru these times. On that note, any of the sponsors want to sponsor a heat pump??  It’s going to get a little toasty inside this year.. and on a double side note, I’ll figure out a way to send a sample your way when harvest is over for sure! Is the address on the business cards we received a good address to send to?:passitleft:

Is that the one u made last season? Or new one? At my other house I have 2 10x10 chainlink dog kennels I had as a makeshift coop in addition to my 3 others. But after 4 years a nice neighbor out of spite bc she called code enforcement on another neighbor and they check whole street not just the address called about. It back fired she got hit with the most we got none she made sure we did took a year but had to get rid of all birds and coops. Was thinking of bringing it here and putting a hooptop and wrapping in visqueen for My 1st outdoor experience.

Can tell OD season is upon us, was driving the other night by a place that has like 50 or so 100fters and it was dark they were lit up like an Xmas tree.

Makeshift shelter? That was last year towards harvest, the plants needed longer but the weather didn’t want to allow it lol.. this year will be a whole new game outside, GH is made from 2x6 lumber, PT for the bottom plate where it will sit on the ground, and need to pick up the corrugated polycarbonate panels I’ll be using. I’ll be using (2) 12” square wall mount exhaust fans on thermostats set in 2 stages soo 1 will kick on when it hits the 80’s, and the 2nd will kick on in the 90’s. Half way down each roof line will be a run of 1/2” pvc with misters screwed in every 12-16” for foiler feeding and and treatments that need be applied. Lots of thought going into it, but, you get out what you put in :slide: :slide:

Pm. Plus u can do your IPM thru the misters, I'd flush prior to switch tho. What's PT or what material is that for bottom plate

Ya My birds had got mycoplasma basically bird flu and when u work with state they required a 42 day quarantine. My birds free ranged , but under quarantine no bird new birds may enter and any to leave must be culled photo and documented and sent to them. So yea it was the quickest and cheapest thing I could think of. Still needed room to move about since under lock down not just to roost.

What’s IPM? I do plan to use the misters for feeding and applying any pest deterrents. Anything that can make for less work for me, I’m all about. PT is pressure treated, regular lumber will rot after a couple years of contact with the ground, PT will last a lot longer, and I also used the yellow/gold deck screws that are meant for outdoor applications soo everything will last even longer than just nails or regular screws. I intend on taking the GH down when I move in a couple years to bring it to the new house, 10x16 is too big to leave behind lol especially with how rigged up this one will be after a year or 2

Integrated pest management, what u do to prevent bugs before ever getting them. Basically a firewall gives u time before an infestation. Oh pressure treated I know what that is just not the abbreviations. Damn Skippy or just add it to the price of the house. Alrdy plan on moving or currently building?

:hmmmm:
What’s the matter with people, huh? That’s amazing.
I went to a show by the guitarist from a local band Herbs and got chatting to some guy. I bought him a beer and he said ‘I’ve been coming to this bar for thirty years and that’s the first time anyone ever bought me a drink’.
He wasn’t like you - he didn’t own the bar! Like you he had some good stories, though. I sometimes wonder if he ever wrote that book.
Anyway. FWIW. You have international support. You’re ever in the South Pacific we’ll see you right :high-five:

Other than respecting federal shipping laws, I think it just slips their minds honestly. Most people come to get help and then take off, never even considering what went into the help they received. We're activist based anyway, so it's not like we're looking for anything in return, we do this to change minds, change laws and pay it forward. I was just thinking the other day though how weird it was that after thousands of growers have learned how to grow from our website, I've only tasted flowers from a few staff, and that was over a decade ago, never from a member.

Now that the laws are more relaxed, maybe we can arrange an in person get together for some of our members in NorCal for taste testing. That would be fun and would also be legal to accept donations. I would do a little 420 Mag Cup, but fear it would destroy the comradeship that's currently happening. Different people and groups have been trying to tear us apart over the last few years. It's nice to finally see everyone coming together for a change, instead of separating and competing aggressively against one another.

Thank you brother, sounds like a dream come true. How long can you put me up, and would it be too much trouble if I never left? :high-five:

I'm so sorry for your loss brother, my condolences. Lost my father a couple years back, and share your pain. Sending you lots of love and positive healing energy through the universe. We will be here for you during your time of need, what a great way to flip the script.

That address only gets forwarded like once every six months or so, it's gotten beyond disgusting down there. You have to step over homeless people to get inside of the building. Plus I couldn't engage in a public display of a federal crime anyway lol, but I REALLY appreciate your support brother :thanks:
