Join 420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow: Sponsored by Weed Seeds Express

Selected cultivators will receive 10 Feminized GSC seeds from @Weed Seeds Express to start a complete grow journal documenting it from seed to harvest. All applicants must be with us for at least six months and have at least one completed grow journal to reference.

Submit your applications in this thread with a list of your previous and current grow journals for consideration.

Comparative growers must be ready to germinate the seeds upon delivery and start the grow at once.

Sponsored grow journals must be updated every few days at minimum, preferably daily with occasional days off.

This comparative grow will be exclusive to the GSC genetics provided from Weed Seeds Express.

We will hand pick growers who we feel will represent us properly and actually complete a proper grow journal.

These are some of the things we consider:

Frequent Activity & Updates - Journals should be regularly maintained and updated
Attention To Detail - Journals should discuss growing methods and techniques in detail
Quality Photography - Pictures should be clear and of good quality
Proper Grammar & Structure - Journals should be well-written and easy to understand
General Forum Conduct - Journal and author should adhere to published forum guidelines
Stays On Topic - Journals should be focused on Cannabis cultivation
Responds To Questions - Members posting questions receive clear and thoughtful responses
Explains Well & Offers Advice - Journal is a good environment for new growers to learn
Promotes our Sponsors - Journals should feature or recommend our Sponsors' products whenever possible

I would definitely be interested in participating in the sponsored GSC grow, but need to know timing to finish and dry my current grow. Links in my signature to my five grows for reference. Point of clarification on the light. Can I use my CMH315 since it’s not an LED or would I need to use a sponsored LED?

This is fantastic and I can’t wait to see what we all can produce! I’d love to give the @Weed Seeds Express GSC a try and show you all what I get, but I wouldn’t be able to germinate for quite sometime. Good luck to the other prospective growers!

Oh yeah super cool idea. I love it and would love to grow another girl scout cookie. I'm experimenting with a GSC right now as a matter of fact. Anyway I would love to be apart of the grow with y'all. Here is my girl scout cookie here.

This is my weed stalk a lot like corn stalk but different. Just my experiment. Please consider me a canadate. Thanks either way.

I'm happy to see everybody is so excited about growing our Girl Scout Cookies photoperiod strain. It's a beautiful hybrid strain (OG Kush and Durban Poison). We're really looking forward to seeing this genetics flourish in your grows.

Those lights are fine, and so are any HPS or MH lights. It's the LED lights we have issues with, because many LED companies are notorious for creating fake profiles and journals to sidestep advertising. They pretend to be regular members, posting pictures from their customers and highlighting the lights, to avoid paying to become a sponsor. So we have to draw the line somewhere, to keep things fair for everyone.

In regards to timing, we start now and go until WeedSeedsExpress wants to tap out, then we finish them all to harvest. This is our first comparative grow, so we're winging it for now and going with the flow.

What about home built lights? Are COBs acceptable?
