420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By VetSmoke85

Hi! You're more than welcome to tag along. Great to see you here. I love the training part. I've done two small quadlines in my little cabinet previously but this time I'll be trying to fill my tent with it.

When I first tried LST, someone suggested that I could try quadlining but Amy Gardner said that it's a lot of work and since fatigue is something I battle with daily, I never looked into it further.

Personally I wouldn't say it's a lot of work but it is some early on. 10 mins every few days pulling the branches down and snipping off bits that aren't needed. But then you just let it go and sit back. Suppose it all depends how many plants you have going.

Heya @VetSmoke85 ! I am currently learning how to train autoflowering plants so I'd like to pop in from time to time to see how it's done. You cut off that one ugly leaf and your plant would look gorgeous to me. ;)

Hi Beez. Great to see you here. What kind of training will you be doing with the autos?

No picture tonight as it pretty much looks the same as last time. Moved the tie downs along the branches a little as she's growing.
I gave her a top dressing and was watered in with a dose of ecothrive biosys.

A little info on Biosys:

Biosys is a concentrated powder that you add to water to make what we call a ‘microbe tea’. It contains some quite complex ingredients that work on a few levels. The microbes in Biosys improve root function, increase nutrient and water availability, help with disease prevention, speed up the breakdown organic matter and improve plant growth. These organisms include;

  • 8 Species of Endo mycorrhizal fungi
  • 8 Species of Bacillus
  • 2 Species of Nitrogen fixing bacteria
  • 2 Species of Pseudomonas
  • 2 Species of Trichoderma
Biosys also contains biological catalysts to allow activation and continued growth of beneficial bacteria and fungi within the root zone – right where you need them. These catalysts that activate and sustain the microbes include humic acids, amino acids, enzymes, proteins, carbohydrates and seaweed extract.

Hey vet u ever tried lst the fluxing method ,,it starts the same way as quad line ,but instead of going up keep growing along top of soil ,,Google it lol I can't describe it wort a shit but like quadlining it not for auto's :passitleft:

Yeah someone recently said they wanted to see me do that. Forgive me whoever it was. Memory is terrible. Lol.

From what I gathered in the tutorial it's like a manifold but some branches are trained back in to fill the middle up. Looks cool. Maybe I'll give it a go on the next one. Could pop another GSC when this one has gone into flower.

Day 26

I'm impressed with this girl from @Weed Seeds Express. Despite me bumbling along attempting a fully organic grow she is doing well. I estimate another week of training her outwards before I start snipping a few unwanted bits off. Then continue to train her outwards for another couple of weeks before allowing everything to go upwards.

Looking good in the hood Vet. Looks like they are responding well. Want to go soil soon so i always listen to Bo and Emilya me. Some good shit.
Can go out to the woods look for a old log laying on the ground. Take a bucket and a scoop. Look for EWC right beside the log.

Scoop and add a handful to your soil top dress and water.

There's your microbes and fungi.
Can't get Bo's stuff from any book i found. Love.
