420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By CigNv

Wow, these look like sativas, are you sure it's the WSE GSC?

Very cool to see this variation.
Haha mine do look like pancake bushes compared to these ladies. Pancake bushes that I :green_heart:

My leaves are also way more fat fingered

oo man, I am so jealous! I would absolutely love to grow a few outside and legally could but no good sunny spots at my current location. They look beautiful, can't wait to see them all grown up

Yes, I am blessed with just over an acre to spread out on. For now I have just an 8'x10' area since local law says "enclosed area", but will expand to a larger fenced area eventually. This spot only gets about 8 hours of direct sun a day. The new location (or same location expanded) will be a bit wider giving me more sun. Picture is taken looking northwest.

Yeah, I have noticed that the leaves are getting a bit thinner the newer they are. I am sure they will thicken up a bit as they mature though and I had also just trimmed the bottom 1/3 to half of everything off. But "The Freak" #11 has had much thinner leaves from the start mostly.

Yes, loving how much all of these are busing up. Just the right amount of node spacing, just the right amount of node growth. A few a bit shorter and bushier than the others, but all still great.

Yeah, I just a scanned back through my pics. The leaves on all of them have been getting thinner and thinner throughout. Just a bit more so on The Freak. Maybe it is my nutrients. PH is still hanging out at about 6.5 - 7.0 too, so it is possible there could still be some lockout on a micro nutrient or something. Growth has been good lately otherwise though with only some mild burnt tips here and there so just going to solider them through for now.

Day 57 Day 1 flower

The look a bit droopy, but it has been very hot and struggling to keep the tent under 90. May need to get another ac but running low on breakers servicing the garage. There is typically only a few weeks a summer here with this much heat (almost 100 outside last couple days) so going to just ride it out for now and keep the humidity up a bit.

Lights on are from 7pm to 7am when the outside temps will be cooler and also my area has a premium on the power from 2pm to 7pm.

Those girls outside are looking beautiful and happy! I'm so excited to get mine planted in my garden bed.

I like that idea of using the heavy duty totes. Is it tough to rehydrate the edges of the soil after it has contracted away from the tote? I found that an issue with another tote I have used in the past for a different plant. I had to backfill mine with more soil in order to be able to absorb water on the edge. It was completely hydrophobic which sucked and drained right out.

Thanks!

It is not too bad. I mound the soil up around the edges a bit and when they pull back there is still a shallow bowl shape left that helps keep the water from running down the edges and then soaks in good.

Wow. Your plants look amazing! I’m the last to start my grow so all of mine still haven’t even popped up yet!

Here to learn along the ride!

Yes, the growth on these have been pretty consistent. Just a few a bit shorter or taller than the others mostly from a bit tighter or longer node spacing. Training consists mostly of just topping and pruning to keep them at about 8-12 main colas each. Starting to see several hairs starting at the tops. Should start to get those fuzzy tops this week

The tough part is in 2-3 weeks when I "defoliate" again right when stretch is finishing. Mostly I will be removing branches that don't quite reach the mid to top canopy and the majority of the smaller lower half bud sites. I do try to leave all fan leaves until they fall off themselves though.

They are all looking awesome! I have just one plant that I'm riding my hope on for my GSC outdoor. I have about 6 feet of height and roughly 2.5 feet of a diameter to let her fill. I'm thinking topping will be my end game to fill my space. I'm a bit behind you though. I just transplanted into a 4 gallon today. After she outgrows that, it will be straight into the raised garden bed!

Yeah, I have 6' of height as well. And those horizontal boards on the fence in the back are the halfway point. So I will have to manage their height in some way, just not sure which way yet. Last season super cropping worked well but I think these girls will be a bit bigger than anything I grew last year.

Last year, I did some supercropping and topping to control height. I had all my plants in fabric pots from 10 gallon up to 25 gallon. I also used cages to pull branches down and that really opened up the inner canopy and letting a lot of smaller branches be able to reach up and actually produce good buds.
