PH meter arrived the other day and confirmed a pretty high soil ph of about 8 to 7.5. They were quite dry at this point too so they all got a good watering of near full strength nutes. PH dropped to about 7 after that and is remaining there as of this morning. Checked a few other plants I have going and ph is riding at about 6.0 to 6.5 on most of them.
Looks like a high ph lockout may be the culprit. Likely from a combination of my tap water which has a ph of about 8, adding all the extra calcium, not enough nutrients being added and letting them get a bit too dry. Feeding with soluble ferts can be more like hydroponic in that you need a bit more water to keep the nutrients available since there is very little in the soil.
Going to feed them heavy for the next week or so and see how they do and not let them fully dry out. I was planning to flip to flower next weekend, but may give them another week. One week to recover, then the week after to bulk up. The bad leaves will be left in place for now in case they still need to pull nutrients from them while they recover.
