420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By BooWho2

Hi all! :ciao: Happy Friday Eve! I want to start this update with a thank you to Sierra Natural Science for the gallon (!) Of SNS 209 they provided for this grow.

I am thrilled to have this to use during the grow since we all know indoor growers are not immune to bugs (including mites!).

I am glad for the directions they provided with the bottle since I was wondering how to get started with it before I need it!
On to the babies...they are 13 days old and almost have their 2nd set of true leaves.

They are very bright! Last week I mentioned how I forgot how long it takes for babies to get exciting...as @InTheShed reminded me - I've been jumping through my butt with autos for the last 6 months so, chill! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Stay safe out there. :love::peace:

Morning all! :ciao: Happy May! I'm beginning to think there is a problem with the GSC gals. They are just very small and their color isn't very good in my opinion.
Day 16

Even their cotyledons are yellow

I'm wondering if maybe I've over watered them? I'm going to back off and if they don't improve in a couple of days I'll drop another seed. Thanks for looking! :peace:
Your soil looks like it could be a little used up my friend it just could be hunger issues they are receiving. I used soil I had from my last harvest that sat out side and I never recharged the soil before planting the gscs in them. But someone mentioned my leaves looking a little pale so I went ahead and top dressed with fox farm ocean forest and since then they seem to have went greener from their. I can get down to the main issue if I know the water source. But over all if it's just an over watering then they will bounce back they look healthy in my opinion! Cheers BooWho I might be late to the show but I'm trying to catch up when i get some time.

Hi Moto258! Welcome to my journal! Actually, that soil was recharged with Earth Alive prior to planting....and I believe that’s used Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. That was not my intent and I honestly don’t know how I did that, but I think I did. I’ve been growing exclusively in ProMix HP for the last 7 or so months, so I’m going to lean toward over watering, but the thought of moving them into a 1 gallon pot of Pro Mix HP has crossed my mind... :cheesygrinsmiley: I hate to kill ANY plants, let alone cannabis ones! They get a couple of days before I make a final decision On what to do. :high-five:

Haha I completely understand that cannabis murdering method delimma your also having my friend I too try finding other options like give aways for friends that keep saying they want it and it all gets set up to a date and time but find the edge of my clippers getting a hold of them before seeing the puff they could have created instead haha! I'm talking to much lol I blame it on this skunky cookie!!

They look a little pale in the pic

And mine! Any chance those white dots are bite marks from underneath? That will drain the color from leaves. If you think they're over watered put them on (or encircle them with) the heat mat to dry them out faster.

I'd try drying out their soil faster, as I don't think the new HP will draw enough water out of the solo cup quick enough to make the difference, if that's the issue.

I'm not entirely sure overwatering is the issue but they look worse today. We are having thunderstorms right now but when they stop I'll go look under the leaves. Been a long time since I messed up a seedling (x2!). :cheesygrinsmiley:
Might as well get on with it! I may need to craft some sort of shoebox of light though...:straightface:
