Nugs must be dry and ready to smoke or vaporize. Any nug that appears to be too moist to smoke or vaporize will be deemed an invalid entry. No "wet" nugs please.

Hi, thank you. I used my camera for this shot. I think some phones have decent cameras. What are you using?

I tried my phone and a cheap microscope camera I bought. The microscope camera did okay but I was having lighting issues. If the lights were too high the bud looked too white from the trichomes and you couldn't really see the colors of the bud that great. If I lowered the light you couldn't see the trichomes at all.

That's a pity. Maybe do some googling and read about how others do it. There's so much info on the net.

Using a lamp with a lower colour temp might help - blue/flash tends to bleach

Quality pics can absolutely be achieved with a phone... even a low quality phone. It's do-able.....

One bit of advice I could give is to listen to the advice of people who have actually won a contest or 2.....
