And you’re right my smoke is Top Shelf. My kid is like a weed connoisseur and he says it’s the best out there for my area. My last 5 or so harvests have been next level good. I often give my hydro guy a little taster, every time I go back he wants to buy, but I’m not a seller. I’m a gifter lol.

I cut all nugs off the twig so all the big ones became little ones.
But she is cured and ready for my bong.
As soon as I clean up and put everything away I’m smoking it.

There are some amazing buds here! Last month I completed my first harvest and want to show off my goods even though I thought I had some amazing stuff, after checking out everyone here I am having doubts.

I looked at some prior months' contests and was curious.......what are the most important things you look for when determining a great bud? Trichomes? Size? Density? Uniqueness? I ask because the prior months I looked at I would have voted for a bud that did not win. Also, I have a few buds that I really like and I cannot decide which one to enter in the contest. I have some big ones but I think the prettiest are some of the medium size ones.

Hi Lovie, darned if I can tell you! Light and background and a clear pic is something to consider. Other than that a wide variety of bud looks win and it seems to change like the weather to me. I have fun there and love to see everyone's work.

I don't really have things I look for. I just pick whichever one I most like the look of.
Pretty seems to win over size most of the time.

Think the flowers should be covered in trichs with a good color to win NOTM. The size needs to be decent but not huge, trichs get the trophy imo, hands down every time.
Needs to be dried too, color before the dry going to be more vibrant, so the trick is right before the cure. If not, it's just green stems.. which should not be allowed. Just my opinion.

That’s the thing about beauty. It’s in the eye of the beholder, and in a contest majority wins.

For me I just post what looks nice for my eyes. I never win coz my Nugs aren’t the best, they are just my best.

My advice just post your best, not to win but to support the mag

I need a better camera. My pics were not looking anything like it did in person. I think I know what I am asking for Christmas now.......a decent camera!
