420 Magazine’s Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By DonkeyDick

Hang on in there DD, GSC is good meds well worth waiting for bud :green_heart:

Just vaped a lil bit of scissor resin from the nug trim early on today with some OG kush & feeling rather up lifted 'n' smiley.

:ganjamon: Hiya :snowboating:

Whoops :blushingdonkeyemoji: How time flies.

Cannameds have been keeping the donkey in the Stable zone somewhat. It’s a ride alright.

We are looking forward to seeing what GSC has to add to the mix.

I still have two in veg. One of these is in her final 20 litre pot since yesterday.

Here are our first three having had a staggered entry to the flower room.

It was top dress day today for the Geoflora girls. They are coming along ok.

I hope you’re well. Cheers for looking in.
:peace::love:

Hey Donkey! They look great. I hope you're starting to feel better. I can unfortunately relate on the energy and health issues right now. Just keep hanging on and focus on the garden when you're feeling blah. It has helped me feel better even when I don't want to get up. Blessings.

8 Days A Week
Well, 8 days since my last post.

Every day I turn each pot 90 degrees and I water if it feels light.

I feed every fortnight.

I spray a citric acid solution once in a while for white powdery mildew.

And I still feel like I’m over-reporting with these girls.

Days noted are from flipping the light cycle to 12/12, not from flower.
Days from flip to budset were as follows:
GSC #1__22
GSC #2__14
GSC #3__12

Stay green everyone :green_heart:

I know this may sound kind of dumb but what's your first indication of buds or when you start the bloom clock? I flipped 14 days ago and my girls had what I thought were the buds forming just after a week. Does that sound right? 7-8 days for buds? Maybe I'm off in what I'm seeing too. I don't know.

7-8 sounds spot on!

I call budset when there is no longer any vegetative growth in the tops. One day there are still little leaf tips in the budding top, the next it’s all flower. Usually she’s pretty hairy with pistils everywhere by then.
It doesn’t really matter in practice because counting flip days works fine for managing clones and we aren’t going to harvest until trichomes are ripe.
GSC’s 2 and 3 were quicker to flower because they were more mature plants already when they were flipped. Worth remembering too that a clone will flower slightly quicker than a plant grown from seed for the same reason - it’s a more mature plant already.

You may feel that way, but with a sponsored grow you can never over-report. ;)

I can assure you that you haven’t missed a thing.
The last thing I want to do is disappoint a sponsor, Shed. That is why this thread is about gardening using sponsored products and not about me.

I am almost entirely bored now of health issues and I don’t feel like apologising or explaining any more. That is not the ride I am offering the reader. It doesn’t really feel relevant to the outcomes the sponsors want to see documented. So there’s less to read, at least it’s on topic.
The GSC’s usefulness in the medicine cabinet will be explored fully further down the track.
Thanks for your understanding.

Hey man. Yeah, I had the realization a couple weeks ago. I'm struggling through some crap as well. I FEEL you're statement of being bored with it. Sending you blessings. The plants, Journal, and my attendance here has suffered as well. I do agree with you that it doesn't necessarily belong in these sponsored grows. It does represent a large number of potential customers that can relate to your struggles. I think sponsors would benefit greatly at understanding these limitations their customers may experience. Honestly, with as much crap I put my ladies through, they are doing pretty good. I think our struggles, whether mentally, physically, or in the garden is relevant to the sponsors. Not sure why my brain cannot make up its mind on this topic. Know what...you are correct. Let's just get back to talking about the buds! That's much easier :D

Hey there 420

I’ll soon be catching up with some of you who’ve harvested or partially harvested already.

Every day is slightly better than the day before.

Housekeeping.

I’m alternating watering from both top and bottom of pots til this clears up (again!) Each time I treat them the visitor numbers go down.

Plants haven’t missed a beat from having their feeds interrupted. Top dressing the nutrients but watering from the bottom at times. Remember to turn off your fans and wear a mask if you dust your garden.

The Garden

I’m calling number one ripe. She’ll be down in the next day or few.

I’d like to thank @Weed Seeds Express @GeoFlora Nutrients @DYNOMYCO @Mars Hydro and of course you @420 for all of your help in bringing this here.
:adore:
