4 Strawberry Kush F5's - How Red Can We Get 'Em?

Maybe next time you grow the Mack flip to flower as soon as the cotyledons emerge! LOL

Hahaha, thats probably the best advise out there for the Mack. Although nivek seems to have it tamed down, but I think he yells at it quite a bit.

The smoke is great. It has a very nice sweet taste, packs a significant punch that starts out in the head and then body and head. It last a good couple hours and doesn't drop you on your head at the end. I'd give it an 9 on the 1-10 scale.

ha,, well, the only thing that happens when i yell at the mack is i hurt it's feelings,,, and my throat,, so i gave up on that.

now i train with love,, firm, full on, fool with it love,

actually,, my plants are so manipulated i feel a bit like donny trump.

the new mack seed that i am growing now is twice the plant the last seed was,, and i love this mack smoke too,, so earthy and ,,well, mild on the body,, no harshness at all,, and i get buzzed too, i think. no,, i know i do,, yay

best of the holidays dawger,, cheers,,

mack on dude,,

I haven't started to flush the Strawberry Kush but I'm just using RO water to top up the res now. The plants have been drinking a half gallon less each day for three days so they are slowing down some. Pretty much have 100% cloudy trichomes with about 2% amber heads on the calyx trichomes. I'll continue to top up with RO water for a few more days then go to flush.

On the other side of the world, the 2 White Widow, 1 Critical Kush and 1 Purple Kush have all sprouted tap roots and went into small pots this morning. They'll live in the dome until after harvest and the tent is cleaned up, about 2 weeks or so I think.

I dropped the temps in the tent to 59⁰F a couple weeks ago and nothing. I don't think this phenotype has it in her.

Its -42⁰F with the wind chill here today, maybe I'll put them outside for a while and see if that turns'em red, it worked on me...;)

Yeah. I'm only down to 66 68 at night .. Maybe dump a 20 lb bag of ice n their tote and throw them outside the night before chop ..

Do you flush with ph'd water or plain? I heard letting the Ph drift up can encourage some colors too. Dunno how many days you flush for but may be worth a try towards the last few days of life.

Hope you had a good Christmas bud

I use RO water that comes in at 5.7-5.8 and will flush for at least a week. I'll try to drift the PH up with some PH+ and see what happens.

You have extra trimmers lined up? You’re gonna need them! Lol

I have an extra set of trimmers and an extra human lined up to help. It'll cost me a pot of coffee and a few cones but still a great deal for me.
