3x300W LED, Purple Kush, Scrog, Soil, Grow

nothing really major to update.. just some updated photos harvest will be in 5days. am watering just normal ph water.

taking out of the scrog def has allowed them to bush right up.. which is fine.. I found problems with the grow I'd not of known unless I'd done it.. must defoliate more to allow better light penetration.

another thing I'd enjoy to have would be a zipper on the back side.. I'll be buying another tent for the next grow so I can have 2 grows.. one in veg one flower. I already ordered new seeds..

I may even try some of the random seeds I received a few months prior.. being as the PK is my first real strain.. I'm not ready to settle down to clones of this breed just yet. I'm interested in seeing how other strains grow.

Along with the tent I switch out of apollo LED's to Mars.. just depends on the cost.

but for now.. I wait till harvest =)

some updated tri photos.. I also turned the lights out.. and the tris aren't purple as much.. so that was indeed the culprit it shows.. you can still see some purple ones.. but that's just reflections too..

I'm tempted to just cut them down tonight.. but no.. I'll wait a few more days.. as I wanna get one more water in tomorrow and then let them dry out and no night harvest for a day.

Just finished the last watering of the grow for these plants.. Harvest in 3-4 days.. depending on how the next few days go.. it'll be either Friday or Saturday. Trimming off all the leaves the soil was still somewhat damp on the lower part of the pot so 3days should be perfect to dry out.

Here's some updated random shots.

Oh and two of the four trimmings I took and put in water rooted.. they also have flowers I had no intentions of doing clones.. but is neat to see even these produced some nice flowers for having the little light they had.

Once I'm up for harvest I'll get some much better clearer shots I hope. as I'll be under non led lights.

I have things I need to do and they're where they need to be in my opinion .. Also.. I ordered new seeds.. some from cropking and tried a new one.. gorilla-cannabis-seeds.. from the sponsor list.. I ordered on tues.. they arrived today.. I'm impressed.

Harvest day has came and went.. it's either day 49 or 50.. either way it happened here are some post shots.. The root balls were one of my main interests.. as my last grow had very little roots.. all three of these plants had GREAT roots.. not root bound but very full.. I was quite happy.. results after these shots

and then some shots of the harvest..

And the hanging in the tent to dry.

So final wet yields?

#1- Juanita 5w chips - 1lb 0.5oz
#2 Latrelle 3w chips - 1lb 3.45oz
#3 Noleta 5w chips - 1lb 5.15oz

so just over 3lbs wet harvest.. so if I net 1/2 pound.. I'll be one happy camper! stay tuned!

#1 Juanita 5w chips - 3.6oz
#2 Latrelle 3w chips - 3.3oz
#3 Noleta 5w chips - 3.85oz

So the 3w and 5w chips are almost identical.. but you can see the difference.. so 5w chips may be better.

I'll be taking a break for a while. I've already handed off the 10oz of stuff to other people as it's illegal for me to have that as one person but not to give away. my building is also quoting scare tactics with US Federal Law. even thought local law says it's 100% legal to smoke / grow / own here. I'd rather not have to deal with needing to get a lawyer. but I'll def have another grow eventually. might just have to move into another place first ;p
