3x Northern Lights Fem, Indoor & Outdoor Combo, BioBizz Soil

Day #58 Flowering day: 34

Just a quick update. Nothing major.
Pheno #2’s bud growth seemed stunted so decided to try give it a good flush with pH balanced water + Cal/Mag and Topmax diluded. Her pot got totally soaked, idk if that flushes any excess Nitrogen off from the soil, but at least I tried.

Been following BioBizz’s chart but that shit advices me to use 4ml of grow and bloom both. That mix has way too much N as you can see from the pic above.
Also been testing the limits how much do they eat the nutes…So found it out; 1.5ml ATA PK13-14 booster, 4.5ml Bloom & 3ml Grow were too much  Pheno #3’s leave tips got slightly burned (just the tips for a bit)

At least now knowing the limits with the nutes and the bud growth isnt lacking because of nutrients. They just seems a bit lazy growing.

here today current look:

And this main cola actually looks a lot better live.. its around 20-25cm tall, and this morning it was fully connected. My guess the dry weight going to be close to 15-20grams

Day #61 Flowering day: 37

Hi. Just updating. Nothing major, they keep doing their thing…painfully slowly

:lot-o-toke:

Little tweaks and fine tune I made:
- Light schedule changed to 11/13
- 100w LED goes with the full power now (12500lm) and HPS been blasting full spectrum whole time (34500lm)
- 0.5-0.7L per day for each plant & the feed is
~ 0.5ml/l Bio-Grow (reduced this all the way down)
~ 4ml/l Bio-Bloom
~ 4ml/l Bio-Topmax
~ 1-1.2ml/l Bio-Cal/Mag
~ 1.5ml/l Atami ATA PK13-14 (ramped up to the max dosage and only pheno#3’s leaf tips got slightly burnt)
Conclusion they eat shit loads of food… Since Bio’s nutes are all organic they dont affect immediately, so PK booster has been handy.

Also doesnt this look like a Calcium defiency? @StoneOtter can u confirm my doubts? :D

Found from Pheno#1 lower branch. Looks a bit oldish as well, but I guess the foliage isnt supposed to dry and die down YET? Anyway been feeding 1-1.2ml/l Cal/Mag every time I water…Bottle says max dosage to heal the cal/mag defiency is 1.2ml/l (which Ive gave) and 0.8-1ml/l to prevent the defiency.

If youve got an opinions about the Bio Grow & Bloom combos, let me know! ..If I should completely drop out the Grow (Bloom has a low amount of N as well)

It looks like the way they do at the end to me. Normal for a few entering 6 weeks of flower. That may look like cal def if you want to try a small amount of cal, but all they have to do is live for 4 weeks or so and they look perfect otherwise from here so I'd consider feeding them their normal ferts. My plants choose to metabolize and drop several lower leaves near the end starting about now. They look like that. Beautiful!

Looking absolutely phenomenal in there. Them are gonna be some chunky colas.:D
Thank you! :) the space between each internode during the stretch phase got IMO a bit too long, mostly because of the day/night temp changes. Some of the colas wont most likely connect together, but Im pleased with this as they only having 4L (1gallons) and one has 6L (1.5gallon) pot.

Ive fed them with Cal/Mag every time I water them, thats why I was curious about the calcium defiency.

And what did you mean by feeding them their normal ferts?
did you mean the recommended dosages or only using Biobizz products? Only seaweed/kelp extract and ATA PK booster is dif brand and PK booster is only synthetic nutrient.

And the reason why I reduced bio-Grow amount to the 0.5ml/l is because the foliage is deep green which tells me there might be some excess N.

Just to continue with what you're doing. Your normal routine. They look great!

Since playing this waiting game these last weeks, decided to plan up the next growth (hopefully starts on the first week of september)

- Strain will be: 3x Cream Caramel autos
- Going to test same phenos in different grow mediums: one goes to DWC bucket (bubbler), one goes to soil (Bio Lightmix) and the third goes to coco.

Already excited af to start this proggy
DWC will be interesting. Soil is soil and coco’s kinda between of those.

…Sadly Im having 8x nicely revegging monster cropped clones and dunno what am I gonna do with them since theyre photos. Might put them into the closet and veg some monster ass mothers.

Will buy and use this DWC bubbler (~40€)
- 12-15L reservior
- Air pump, tubing and air stone all included
1630242920478.jpeg

For soil going to buy 10L Air Pot (10€)
- BioBizz Lightmix & Allmix 30/70%
1630243129863.jpeg

And for the coco going to use my current 6L Air pot
- one Coco brick should be enough for 6L pot
1630243239555.jpeg

Also other supplies going to need/upgrade:
- pH meter ~ Milwaukee (25€)
- EC meter ~ 25€
- Canna PH- supplement 12€
- 2x new moisture and temp/humidity meters 25-30€
- NEW NUTRIENTS:
Which one you would prefer(?)

- Canna’s or Terra aquatica GHE

That's soon! Here we go! Nice new bubbler and pots!
Theyre pre-ordered waiting at my local hydro store! :)
Gotta order the seeds tho, but theres a finnish vendor so they will be delivered from the same country as well.

current NL’s on 6th week of flowering now and the breeder provides 7 weeks flowering time (mine wont finnish that fast tho…) But hoping to finnish the NL’s in two, max three weeks.

So lets assume it takes 2-3 weeks to finish the current crop then we’re close to the mid september. By that time Ive hopefully the new systems set up and the new seeds maybe already germinated and sitting inside the 2nd part of the tent in rockwool cubes. :) Would be ideally if I could straight put germinated seedlings to the bigger tent after Ive harvested NL’s.

And my tents ”2-in-1” model, which is actually 3-in-1. Exatcly same as this:
1630255391944.jpeg

Bigger part is 60x60x140cm, smaller parts are 35x60x70cm

Day #63 Flowering day: 40

Patience aint my second name  Last weeks feels like they going painfully slow…
6th week of flowering will be most likely the last week of nute ramp up, 7th and 8th I’d give them a water diet.
The foliage feels and looks like its starting to get end of the lifespan.

Burning the leave tips on purpose because just giving them max dosage (1.5ml/l) PK13-14 Booster before I cut down the feeding. BLM and 4L Air Pots hold barely any water… 4L/1gallon of BLM holds just about 0.5L without runoff. When it goes over 0.5L starting to get around 10-20% run off per every 0.35L So I guess Im kinda just draining the nutes thru the soil onto the saucers.

Pheno #2 seems to be still stunted somehow. Barely any decent colas and the buds are airy popcorns which wont connect. But pheno#2 looks maturest - most trichomes laying on sugarleaves, pistils turning into brown and around 40% of trichomes are already cloudy

Also @StoneOtter heres how my mini garden the 3-in-1 tent looks live.
Had to buy that tent because also loved the idea how u can separate it in sections.
Clones are inside mine tent and the whole bigger part for the older NL’s :)

Have a nice monday and start of the week magaziners!

Day #65 Flowering day: 42

Today decided to give the plants a good flush. Tried to flush out excess Nitrogen. Idk if that had any impact but at least tried.
Also noticed they probs havent had enough water because after the flush buds actually sucked whole lot water and top cola stems are under some serious weight right now. See the pics below how they lean against the net/tent walls

Current light schedule is 11/13 and next week going to switch into 10/14 for the last week(s) ripen.

Also while flushing tried to shoot couple art pics :D all pics can be found from This thread

Roots are free to intake as fast as they want again now!
Yeah wondering why I didnt try that earlier… makes perfect sense because even the pots are so small. Bet they like to swim time to time in that very limited space :D

Towards the end of a grow there's salts buildup in there and the flush clears it away giving roots free rein to do what they please. It's a real boost!

Day #67 Flowering: 44

Current light schedule: 11/13 (will be switched to 10/14 for the last week)
Water/Feed per day: 0.5L - 0.75L/24h

10th week feed:
- PK13-14: 1.5ml/l
- TopMax: 4ml/l
- Kelp/Seaweed extract: 4ml/l

Upcomming 11th week (hopefully last)
- Water diet :nerd-with-glasses:

Last night decided to cut first actual test brach :p
Picture got pixelated but around 50-70% of trichomes already cloudy on Pheno#1

Quick dried the popcorns and trim leaves last night. The trim leaves already got me blazed AF… o_O Ready product must be fugging dank! Will post smoke report tonight if the nug is dry enough to smoke. Not bothering to cure this one.

They gaining weight sloooowly but surely.

And decided to flip my clones into 12/12 last night as well.. might be a bit waste since they will stay pretty small. They’d have potential to grow in monsterious bushes

Yuh thats basicly what I was trying to figure out during the whole growth. Since biobizz’s are organic they shouldnt build up salts barely at all compared to the checimal nutes, but heh still they do.

Also heard a lot of different opinions about Air Pots and is root bound even possible with those pots. Air Pots should air prune the roots so root bound basicly shouldnt be possible but we’ll see when we get to the harvest.

The roots won't be wound around, but instead a kazillion tiny roots will fill it and have a small border of soil around the edge. They can get dense if a long grow or small pot.

Yes, organic nutes don't need flushing.
