Thanks rhetorrikz!
Perfect timing Noob! Here's how the ladies are looking, about 2 weeks into flowering:
I pruned a ton of leaves on Monday, they became looking like skeletons. I used Jaymu's tip to take all the red-stemmed leaves, which made the whole thing easier and more enjoyable to have a simplified target. It really seems like a natural signal, the red-stemmed leaves were almost always shading younger growth. By the time I finished I was a little horrified how much I had taken off lol, but they look healthy and more balanced now a few days later. I'm glad I went for it.
Going to keep vegging and pruning for another week and then flip and lollipop any lower growth after the stretch. Temps are 85 F during the day, 75 at night. Humidity 50%, light 25" above.
The sexbud are starting to veg some again, albeit slowly. I changed the light hours back to 18/6. Fed them all 2ml/L CaMg but otherwise the Ocean Forest seems to be feeding them well through veg.
I'm planning my first vegetable garden this spring, too. Growing is the best!
