3rd Generation Do-Si-Do

Mini plants are on the mend, there was no new damage this morning. they have lost a lot of leaves hopefully they can pull thru.

the girls are looking good. they both have had a feeding of the miracle grow for flowering plants and so far so good.

I'm gunna flip flop on the mini plant, the problem continues just at a slower pace. not sure how many more leaves she can lose

Ok so the infected mini plant is in quarente. the other mini plant will get an upgrade from her 1 quart to a 2 gallon container. I have some old fox farms O F that's been used once and sat in the basement for about 5 years.

I went to the grow store yesterday and got some new nutes. after explaining what's been going on they recommended using general organics biothrive bloom 2-4-4. he said it's a good base nutrient and should get me back on track, he threw in a small container of fish shit, he said it will help get rid of any salt buildup. I gave both small plants and one of the big girls a feeding last night. so far so good

Well after reading a few posts about getting rid of the chlorine in my tap water I came across a post by Emilya about Mono-chlorimine... and I was stunned to find out my drinking water indeed has chloramine. the shite does not evaporate, you can't boil it out.if you want to filter it your run of the mill filter is useless, you need something called catalytic carbon filter... I had a Red Green moment and envisioned myself using an old catalytic converter from the car an stuffing it with charcoal bricketts and attaching it with duct tape to the faucet. but then I saw a brilliant post by Emilia about adding vitamin C tablets to get rid of the chloramine... it couldn't be that easy... could it? Well hell yeah, after a bit of interweb searching sure enuff is that easy. there are all kinds of vids an article's on the subject. after afew hours of gozintos an cyphering I was able to convert the 1000 mg. per 40 gallons of water I came up with 25 MG. per gallon. so it's off to the Walmart for vitamin.
P O E purity of essence...did you ever see a commie drink water. General Ripper was on the right track

36 hrs since giving the girls some of the new nutes they look good, a bit greener and the bud have definitely gotten bigger.

Once I figure out the chloramine issue they should get the full benefits of the organic nutes. I just crushed up a 1000 mg vitamin C tab and divided it into 40 equal parts, hopefully the over-under amount has wiggle room

the little plant that was in the quart container , half of it was hydrotron balls for drainage. has adjusted nicely to her new 2 gallon home, so far no adverse reaction to the weird soil. I don't have any room in the growbox for her so she gets moved from sunny window to sunny window. I have a CFL bulb over her too. for whatever reason she never did like the LED light. This little girl is a survivor tho, she sprouted back in March but she struggled to grow. I feel confident the force is strong in this one

the girls looking really good. even tho it's been hotter than usual they are tolerating it very well. with the LED lights the temps still get up around 90 in the grow box, but the LST (leaf surface temperature)remains low

4 weeks flowering and looking better than any other grow I've had in 12 years of growing indoors. a big thank you to the 420 community I could not do this without all the great advice.

Well after 4 days of 90+ heat and tropical humidity the girls look really good. They seem to tolerate the heat much better now that I'm using LED lights.

I know first hand what too much heat can do, can too much humidity harm them, aside from mold issues? My AC crapped out so my I have no way to dehumidifier the space.
