Its powdery mildew.. rh got up to 70-80 at night during lights out is what caused it.

I'm not sure if it is mold but if it is I saw video by Cervantes once were he dipped it in something right before he cut it down when it dried he had it tested and there was none. Not all is lost I bet. As far as being a failure. Far from it my friend. Learned something. That nature has to be broken to our will. Can't just go with it guess. I def learned. I didn't think it was a big deal to get to 70rh if you have food circulation. The buds may have some mold. Doesn't take away from the awesome appearance colours tichromes. That shit you made happen bro. You have been positive this far and it has served you well. I hope you figure something out. I'll reach out to a friend who grows and see if he has any suggestions for you.

those are trichomes that have stuck to something and then been pulled away making spikey looking gooey ones. I don't think they are mold dude.
Here is a pic under serious magnification
You can clearly see where some have gone spikey on this fan leaf. This leaf was photographed probably 20 times and rubbed against as many if not more. Each part of the plant has different trichome structure as well. Don't sweat it.
My RH never went above 50%
No mold in my stash.

What the fuck dude the bud i bought the other day has the same shit on it... please guys look at your buds do they have those little things on them? Sent the picks to my buddy in BC. He says it looks like the thought reflecting off the lens and the pistols. He also said that some thc if the plants gets banged together from the fan can end up looking smushed against the leaves. He also confirmed that you only increase your chance of PWM by getting high humudity in flower. Says that good air circulation can do just fine but it does increase the chance. He suggested trying to get a close up pic with no light bleed in it. Hope this helps brotha.

Your defol has provided plenty of circulation and your buds look great. I hate to see you get too worried about this. Either they do or don't have mold. Its what a good grower does with it, that makes his or her worth.
IMO $39 for a digital microscope is cheap piece of mind to actually know what you have been doing for the last 90 days or so.

Im pretty sure thats what it is and its not light reflecting nor the little hairs on the pistils.. ive been trying for the last two hours to get decent pics and i just cant do it. What i dont understand is its on the bud i bought too.. have i really been smoking buds with powdery mildew on them for 10+ years? Fucking christ man no wonder why my lungs always feel so heavy and i can barely breathe after i take a hit sometimes. Heres the stuff on the bud i bought too..
