I use the top of my PC tower, or cable box to germinate my seeds. Or even a hotwater heater. Older tvs. Anything you feel a slight heat from. Not hot just slightly over body temps. Not sure what your doing but GL. I always use the paper towl nd plastic wrap on a china plate. Had a grear run of luck like this, maybe 90 %. I cheat and got one of them digital thermoters and keepem as close to 82-84 as I can. If its' to hot put a book under the plate.
You know you can make you a small veg 'box' outta cardboard to veg two plants in under them CFL. Alittle PC fan on the box. Wow I was just talking to someone about these. Custom sized box to fit anywhere you need. Paint the inside flat white and acouple bulbs over heard and you have a veg chamber. Leave the outside so that it looks like a box of dirty clothes or some kind of camo if you so need. I've had landlord walk right past my boxes, the power was off and I threw a shirt on it.. Worked like a dream.
I'm not sure how your doing your air downstairs, but I know I have some bushes out front that get PM every year. Sure I spray them but they are PM magnets. And I have a passive air intake coming up from the floor right there. I had alittle sheet metal bent and placed one of these over the intake,, I keep the R/H down, and haven't seen PM since 5 years at 4 crops a year, and counting, now if I could lower the R/H outdoors around the first of Oct,, I'd be in heaven. I can't find one big enogh to do my yard yet.

I plant the seeds directly in wet warm soil and keep a table lamp on them and i might keep my fluorescents on if the lamp isnt enough heat. Ill move em to a sunny window if its warmer there too. Its always worked for me. I remember you talking about those veg boxes before.. thats why i placed mine behind a couch in the spare room. Ill move them in the tent once the ladies are done. Thanks for all the info on the pm i wont worry about it much until i see it.. those dust shrooms are pricey! I just have some small holed nylon net folded over a bunch of times over my intake lol

So im not sure if its a lockout or what but im starting to see something one some leaves of the flat chested lady and a little on one leaf of the Hawaiian lady. It might be those stupid shutters i have them on they dont work as well as i had expected and i keep having to move them around when i water and soak up the runoff water with a towel. So they probably have been soaking up their runoff a bit which is what im assuming its from.. damn it now i gotta figure something else out lol

Spots look like Ca shortage. A turkey baster works well to suck up the run off.

Hmm i thought the liquid bone meal would help with the cal issue.. guess ill have to give them some with the plain watering tomorrow and up it next feeding. Ive always heard about using turkey basters and ive been skeptical.. guess ill have to finally try it i got one for two bucks. A lot cheaper then the $20-30 i would have had to spend on grated cooling racks or a grill rack to put them on.. was gonna go to the thrift store and look around but got tired of shopping lol

Get a nylon stocking/womans pantyhose they work ok if layered to keep some unwanteds out of the garden

I didnt actually I was trying to rig something up and my girl hit me in the head with a pack and said use these genius lmao. . .
Been there done that. I once put a pantyhose over the end of some ductwork I was using as an exhaust to the attic. 2 years later my fan was running hot. Damn thing was solid as a rock completely blocking my air. And frying my fan. Duh.. Don't forget to clean em every once in awhile.. Keepem Green

Yea i clean the buildup on the nylon netting i have over mine about once a week.. thankfully self check out lines make buying the panty hose possible. Otherwise i dont think i would have the balls lol

I got so excited about starting my second grow lastnight i forgot to post about the dispensary bud i got.. roadkill kush and some sativa strain cant remember what she said it was called lol was bummed she didnt get the lemon Durban poison but the roadkill kush is a strong indica with dense buds.. its really nice smoke, very smooth and perfectly cured. The sativa strain is alright ive had better though. Bud on the left is the roadkill kush and the other is the sativa.

Got some pics of the trichromes.. looks like one more feeding then starting the flush looks promising. What do you guys think? I would be harvesting three weeks from today with one more feeding. Broke my loupe afterwards darn it lol oh well glad i ordered a different one thats coming monday, that was lucky!

When I can't move my plants I use I siphon pump I got a lowes to drain them. I use a binder clip on the end of the hose to keep the hose in the drain pan.. I wish it was electric though..
