2nd Inside Grow

Glad the clones are good Miwa. Sometimes they need to "take a nap" and lay down for a day or two, then it's back to the races.......don't worry, they look good. I think you will have people scouring the garage sales for glass clone boxes.
 
I am an aquaculturist and I have around 40 tanks with breeders (rare african cichlids) in them and about 35 or so as back up. I can't wait to try your method of creating a cloning box for my WW (white Widow) clones. I have to wait about 5 more weeks, right now they're on 18 on 6 off. I hope they turn out half as good as yours.
 
Very curious about the timeline for growing...daylight and nighttime hours are not the same worldwide...so how can you have certain hours for optimum growth...i'm due to go on 12/12 on xmas...i am now on 16/8 and adding 2700k cfls...while flowering i plan to increase sleepy time past 12 hours...when plants were outside in ground and flowering...we had more than 12 hours darkness...plus it cuts down on elec cost...wht do u think???

Well you may have 14 or even 16 hrs darkness where you are at but the light/darkness needs for each strain could (most likely are) different. A strain that would do well in my area (12 hour dark) might do horribly in your area and vice versa. Find out the needs of the strain and use them as a guide. I bet once they are flowering the would do better with more rest but thats just my 2 cents.. Cheers
 
Time for some pic...my next project is going to be a photo studio...fu*king up on my pic taking...got 1 plant thats overwatered...bag seed fu*king up...2nd bs just putting out 1st set of leaves with a stem thats 2 inches long...1 inch laying on soil..1 inch vertical...got 1 plant growing 2 shoots from top like i topped it...my outside grow had one but it started with 2nd set of leaves...this one is just starting...

Nice....I was gonna order the Jock also. I ordered the weekend whopper yesterday and added another strain. I have Wonderwomen and Bubbulishous coming from Nervana.
 
mini UPDATE

Room is getting full...bag seed surviving...clones green and standing tall...4 more days til 12/12...if my clones doesn't have roots can i put them on 12/12...

I like the basket. That's going to be your best herbs. JK But it looks rustic. First time I drove thru here, and I see some pretty little bushes. I seen you using MG Bloom Blaster, You might wanna at least get some straight MG for veg and save the bloom for finishing. I haven't looked back much so I'm new and I will drop back in everynow and then If it's cool. I had a Jack the Ripper once. I think thats one of the parent plants for your Jack Horror's. It out grew my green house and was a Powdery Mildew magnet. It might be wise to spray all with their 2 spray regiments before you flower. Just as a precaution.

Thanks for stopping in Wood...i haven't used any nutes yet...havem't watered in 2 weeks...MG has enough nutes in it to last through veg...going on 12/12 in 3 days...then i will start MG BB...:thankyou:

The basket is an experiment...plus i was out of soil and perlite...and pots...i'm sure i have a male that i will evict...i'm getting to be forgetful...to find sex..all i had to do is wrap 1 branch with light proof bag..that branch would have shown sex...oh well...next time...:thankyou:
 
 
Hey Miwa, I like the new avatar much better, must be satan claws. I would not put clones into 12/12 without good roots, it will hurt the yield. Clones are different from seeds in how the roots grow. Give them at least a week to start to fill the pot.

Where did you find that avatar picture? It's kind of creepy lol. It could very well be the "Bud-Spawn-Santa" of Budsville. He comes around on the last day of flower and christens your harvest with the "trichome trilogy blessing". Causing all your special buds to tripple their THC production. Thats what we need. lol:cheertwo:

Got that photo from another 420 member...been doing research on clones...what do you think about unrooted clones being on 12/12/ light cycle???

With my limited experience with clones I may not be the one to ask. However, I feel like the 12/12 cycle is for flowering and I am of the opinion that if you want the best flowering to happen then you want the best root system to work from. After all roots are where the majority of the plants manufacturing comes from. Sure the leaves collect nourishment but nothing like the root system provides. Putting your girls into a flower producing state without giving them the opportunity to work from a strong root system is setting them up to fail or finish poorly at best. I have never tried to do it so I do not know for sure if it would/wouldn't work. I do feel like it would not be productive, quite the contrary, it would lead me to think it would be counter productive. What benefit are you seeking by putting them into a flowering cycle without first getting them to develop roots? It's kind of like giving my 13 year old niece the keys to my truck, she might be able to start it up and maybe even find the gears but before she ever leaves the driveway I would be betting against her success.
