iI'm leaning towards a ancient burial ground...but that clone was grew at my other house 2 miles from this one...almost finish with this room..the 3 bulb cfl is temporary..i have a 8 bulb fixture i used in my last winter grow..got to modify it ..both are fixtures from salvation army...the hoods are stovepipe ...the MHs are warehouse lights...modified...whole setup=under 75 dollars..i 'm going to get new lights next month with Hortilux bulbs...the setup isn't fancy..but i have been smoking free for two years...still on last year harvest..bud has been in jars over a year...i just need to improve on my inside grows...yield wise...no problem getting lbs outside..but i need to get at least 1 lb inside...i think Hortilux will get me there...i'm going to bomb the whole house tomorrow and spread the sticky tape..i had to fight nats last winter...if they get a hold they will destroy your whole crop...a lot of perlite and sticky tape is the key...but then again..i'll be doing hydro this year...i think i know enough to complete a water grow..we'll find out...may have to switch...may not...stay focus...

PLANT I SHALL...i shook...not squeeze,,the excess moister out of the RW..and put root down...the holes in the RW are too deep just to drop seeds in..the cover over seeds are just suppose to be equal to the length of the seed..i got that..now how do you sex plants without putting them under 12/12 lighting ???
 
damn, id get a priest and have him sort buriel ground gouls out,

you have to wait till the nodes begin to stagger for the most part either that or take a clone and grow it under 12/12 after it roots and you should see sex in about 4or5 days.
or you can close your eyes and say there is no plant thats homie 3 times while clicking your heels together:)
 
Yep...staggered nodes...it hit me last night why i was having so many males..now one of my midget plants has female and male flowers..i didn't kill this one..i'm going to grow it for seeds..i took it to my other house to grow...back to why i was having so many males..these plants were being forced to flower before the nodes were staggered..they had flowers when the nodes were still opposite..they were confused because of the short daylite and grew nuts to preserve the species...sound right ???...like i said at first...they had no veg time..they were born into less than 12 hours daylight...the question now is..will these seeds be female seeds ???MIRROW,,MIRROW ON THE WALL ..WHO's THE WISES OF THEM ALL...what about you FC...what do you think ???..OG...want to take a guess ??..DP...ask that Priest..DP..i got sprouts growing in rockwool...do i have to wait for roots to show before i put them in Hempy or DWC..i'm just going to do one Hempy...two soil...and the rest DWC...two weeks till harvest..trics are clear and cloudy...all plants are 45 days in flower..the first one to be cut is the pineapple express...she's big ...reveg brought a lot of bud sites and they are swelling fast...i watch that movie again last night...can't wait to smoke this one...grow rm is finished...got plenty sprouts..still waiting on the Hash Plant and Auto..i put the seeds in pots yesterday...the other ones didn't sprout...i dug where i planted..couldn't even find the seeds..Haunted Grow...something is eating my seeds dammit...gotta stay focus...it ain't easy...:lot-o-toke:

oh btw Miwa I am biting your style and making a aero out of a cooler :D. I got a good one today for 8 bucks at a thrift store.
 
Howdy MIWA, I do think the seeds well some of them will be female but chances are they will hermi again.
I have read that some folks get their female seeds from hermis but like I said before the odds of them hermieing again are pretty high.
the only plant I had hermi was a bag seed plant so I never grew another from it.
hope it works in your favor! someone smarter then I may tell you more.

This herm thing is complicated..i thought herm was when female flowers get balls in them..this plant has female flowers and male flowers..two separate flowers...idk..we'll see...
 
Hey Miwa I had seeds from a hermie and planted three of them. Two females and 1 hermie. Not to bad I guess!
I have read that it is about 50% hermie to female ratio. When gibberelic acid or colloidal silver is used to induce male flowers on a female plant its more like 99.8% females. Its more of a genetic thing when stress is involved versus hormones.
I had a seed given to me by a friend he said it came out of a jack herer. So I popped and grew it out it ended up being an auto flower. It had a main all female cola, but all the rest of the plant was male flowers. I saved the pollen I might breed it one day with something to make autos. I also have seeds from IT. I guess i have a litttle mad scientist in me to!:peace:
 
Like Gittergreen said....if you force the male flower on the "truely female" you will get fem seeds. If the plant is a "natural hermie" you will get garbage. If you find seeds (a few) but never see any flowers....that is the true unknown....they MAY be Fem seeds. Sqwheels had that issue last year, they were herms. Don't worry about nodes, the plant will only flower when it is genetically predisposed. You can grow MMJ from seed under 12/12 lights quite successfully, go look up some of DocBuds old journals. They will veg for about 3 weeks then start to flower, all without switching the lights. I believe your seeds are suspect (genetics)....
 
Very interesting..GG and OG...this plant was a clone from one of my female plants..before i took it out of the cloner it flowered along with my other clones...so i took all the clones out of the cloner and put them in pots...only one of them grew male flowers...their mothers are ok...i'll be harvesting them next month..their mothers were in reveg when i took the cuttings..ok...i took one of my sprouts out of its pot...put it ...dirt and all...into a 2 inch net pot...took a 2L and cut the top off..filled it with ro water with a teas of fish fert and a teas of thrive alive B1..put a air stone in and put it under a 85w cfl...in about 5 minuites the leaves were sticking almost straight up...and it seems to be growing as i post..this is really strainge..my plan was to get some good roots and start a DWC...i got the water level even with the bottom of the net pot..and its bubbling so hard the bubbles are up in the net pot...i might be on to something...i'm going to put some more sprouts in bottles..see what happens...these are bagseed sprouts..my Auto and Hash Plant haven't sprouted yet..this is the second try on those...

thats a umbrella reflector from a warehouse light..as soon as these bought seeds sprout i'm starting another journal...stay focus...
 
hi mate, collect the pollen from the hermie and then use this pollen on a fem plant and this will give you 100% fem seeds,

the seeds from the hermie will be a mixture of male and female, but any stress and they will hermie a whole lot quicker, if it was me id collect pollen off the hermie and put this on 1 or 2 bud sites per plant, then you will only have seeds from them buds you put pollen on. the rest of the plant will be normal buds and can be used as normal, all id do is leave the seeded buds on the plant a couple of weeks longer, so you could harvest the none seeded buds as normal and then leave the seeded ones on the plant until the seeds are ready.

its just an idea mate, but that will allow you to cross that strain and get fem seeds, you can put pollen on a couple of bid sites and then an hour later give the plant a good spray with water and this will stop the pollen spreading, it would be harder outdoors but im sure it can be done if you isolated a few buds with plastic bags and just put pollen on these

that reflector is real cool I think that I want one.
this is starting to be BS about those new seeds. I believe someone would be hraring from me if those dont pop.

I am like 95% sure you have angered Mother Nature with some sorta Chem ferts or Pesticides in the past and she is repaying you with many balls :).
