mini update...got too much for full update...tired as hell..tilled another spot for beans---peas...and 1 melon ...i got veggies in the front of the house...on the side...and in the back...1st my White Shark...putting out 4 bladed leavesthis will be the 1st potted plant to get LSTing...

i think i will put the clone from MS #1 that has roots...the most roots in the cloner...i will put that one in the round cooler...hook the water pump to a timer 1 min on...5 min off...also going to start another DWC...
 
I have run a bucket system like the one you are setting up in the past. I used volcanic gravel for a medium and set my pump to run 3 times for 15 minutes during lights on. I ran the lights only 10 hours and used 15-30-15 miracle gro at 2 teaspoons fert, 2 teaspoons epsom salts and 1 teaspoon hydrated lime per gallon. While the miracle gro worked well enough I like Jacks professional hydro nutes far better. I did not run an aerator just let the fert mix get aerated as it was pumped thru the gravel. This was years ago so I don't know if Miracle gro is still exactly the same. I fed by putting the fert in the bucket and running water thru the gravel into the reservoir thus flushing and feeding every time I added ferts. I also just put water in every third time I had to refill the bucket and let the plants use up any leftover nutes for a while then added ferts.

Thanks for the info..i use technaflora nutes for my hydro and foxfarm for potted plants...the ones in the ground i use MG...how long were your plants in the bucket..in veg mode...
 
Back then I hardly vegged at all, maybe a week but no more than two weeks. I really had no problems growing like this. I did not run the tube up thru the top bucket I ran it into a ring around the plant stem and let the fert mix run out thru holes in the top bucket. The gravel I used was very fine, less than 1/4 inch in diameter but it was a bit heavy when I used it in more than 1 gallon pots. What are you going to use for a medium?

for my medium i'm using Hydroton clay pellets...that setup you aer talking about was my first try at using water...then i went to the one hose method like this...clone update 10 - 420 Magazine Photo Gallery


i hope i did that right...anyway just trying them all...just did one in a bucket of bubbles...

she is so big...i'm going to start topping and super-cropping...along with the tie downs...shes over 50 per cent in hight that i want her to be now...i think i'm F*cked...these 2 b*tches are out of control...i think they forgot i got a knife and i like to cut...lol

Hey Dude. Looks like you got afew new hair brained projects going on. I did alittle speed looking afew pages back. I Very happy to so your main plants revegging and filling alotted space. One thing about marijuana straight in soil, is they get big fast. Hell if they are heathy, they always seem to outgrow what we plan. That's a good thing for sure. But I glad to see they smiling away.
I'm doing about the same with my plants. Cept hydro, which I'm not a big player in as you know, in hydro I use GH. Good 'cheaper' nert's. Did you use any microbs in your potted plants? Because that's suppose to be good fert's for them. That Fox Farm I mean. I use the Technflora on my potted inside plants. MG on the other door ones with alittle cal/mag about every 4th watering. I also starting using that Silica in the mix. They rave about the stuff.
Also seen ya had to get rid of some of then branches. Hey I seen the flowering clone still growing. That's intresting. Please keep me up on it if something major happens. Like transpalnting day. I have that Cripit flowering. I'm just going to wait it out till revag, then get my clones. Hey cut 6 OG Kush clones and 2 Speonik's and rotting all in like 6-7 days. Now to do something with acouple of them. I onley want like 2 or 3. Well I'll find someone to kick them to soon enough.
