2nd Inside Grow

Yeah its never humid around here. Its just dry and hot (probably why spidermites can be such assholes here). I am about to switch to watering every 3 days! Soon it might be every 2 days.

Last year I was watering literally every day in late july and aug.

But on the plus side I never really got to worry about budrot or PM here. humidity is too low. On the down side when im drying buds after harvest they can be done in like 3-4 days, so i gotta really pay attention or else they get too dry and wont cure right.

I did think of some new ways to cure though that are cheap but should work nice, since glass jars really aint practical unless you harvest a pound or less. Im gonna use tote boxes with weather striping around the edge to seal them nicely. So far thats been the best i got and i think i can make them nice and air tight for long term storage. The other idea was something like barrels. Either wine barrels or oil drums, or even trashcans that have a tightning lid. I just know those rinky dinky glass jars aint gonna work.

oh man..bud-rot..every year in oct...we got a rainy/stormy 2 months...i had industry fans in my garden last year...didn't get budrot but got plants xuck up by storms..midwest sucks as for as the weather..yeah i know guys use totes to store..JamesThe Green don't use glass...i don't know about wine barrels or oil drums..yhey may leech.. sweat..idk...have to research..i know i got three times the ladies i had last year..i don't have enough glass...

unknown fog..this is my fog experiment..bagseed...strain/sex unknown...two changes i'm making in this grow system...one the fogger will be on a timer..and two there will be an airstone in the solution...it will feed on advance nutes...light will be the sun..if its a female..i'll smoker...if its a boy i'll give him to one of these purple hazes and let them xuck each other to death...get me some seeds...

Yeah I got like 3 times the ladies too and they are all basically bigger already then the biggest from last year. Id need like 50-100 quart jars, which not only are they almost 3 bucks each they are tiny and would just be a pain in the ass.

yeah but the bad thing with those is if you fuck up and they are too damp still then you lose the bag

also the ones i tried to use before where not wide enough.

you suppose to cut them open for some air and reseal...like you do with a mason jar..

i guess that could work if you find a wide enough one.

last year i tried to use one to put like 5p of trim in. it was such a pain in the ass i said fuck it and just put it all in trashbags lol.

but yeah ive seen normal old plastic trashcans where the top instead of just going on, it spins like a jar top and sorta sealed. something like that could work too.

Another kinda cool option i just though of is using massive glass jugs that have cork tops. or even glazed ceramic ones.

right...but glass and cera is expen..the larger they are the more the cost..you can blame that on plastic containers..

I have 2 quart flip top jars holds a 1/4 pound a little better than 1 quart ones. picked them up from goodwill store 2 bucks each

cant you use them big plastic containers that seal air tight, their pretty big and have a rubber seal running around them, they usually sell them in different sizes, i seen them on tv where a person selling them put his ipad inside and left it under water all day, it kept his ipad dry so im sure the seal would be ok,

not sure why growers dont use plastic, not really seen anyone use plastic ive used it, they do hold more than a jar but still they dont get huge to hold loads, the only other option for storage would be them plastic bags that you can suck the air out of, i hear their pretty good for curring bud, if you buy a roll of the plastic and the seeling machine then you just cut the bags to size, have them as big as you like, if you didnt want to suck all the air out then just switch it off before its all out, i seen them used for bud cure on the video site,

i thought it would squash the buds which it probably would if they was not dried enough but this bloke opened the bag and let them out to breath during the cure and they looked ok, he put them back in the bag and resealed it and removed the air, it said you could store it anywhere as moisture cant get inside once the oxygen is sucked out, my mom uses something similar to store bedding in, she got big bags that she puts quilts and stuff in then sucks the air out with a vac and stores them in her garage, normally they would get damp and go moldy but she been using these bags for years and the quilts and blankets are just as good as when she put them away,

Hey Miwa, How Goes It My BOON COMPANION. Hope ALL IS WELL WITH "YOU":high-five:!!! I Just Wanted To Add My 2 Cents To Using Plastic Containers For Storage. DO IT!!! I Have To Use Plastic Containers For Our Herb, Or I Would Have NO SAFE PLACE TO KEEP IT:thedoubletake:!!! I Buy Thaose Large Blue Tubs That You Can Get At Wally-World. The BIGGEST ONES THEY HAVE, I WOULD SAY THEY ARE PROBABLY30-40 Gallons. We Then Place 45 Gallon Garbage Bags In Them, Then Bag Up Our Herb In TURKEY BAGS,THE BIGGEST ONES YOU CAN FIND,FOR US ANYWAYS!!!:hmmm: We Then Separate Our Medicine Into Each Strain, Bag Then Up In The Turkey Bags, Make Them Airtght, Then Seal Them Till We Are Ready To Manicure Or Whatever(BUTTER,TOPICALS, ETC), Since The Turkey Bags Are Air Tight, And Have No Odor What So Ever, The Herb That Is Placed Within Them Is Safe From The Plastic That They Are Stored In,The Medicine Comes Out Just Like It Smelled When Put In The Darn Things!!!:yahoo: That Is My Advice And Opinion On That!!!

Now I NEVER Got To Find Out If You Used My Listing Method To Your Satisfaction, I Sure Hope It Worked For You This Time!!! And That A Healthy Plant Was Put With It, If Not, I Think I'll Have To Come There, And Let You Tell Me What Happened,LOL, Just Kidding, But An Up Date Would Be Nice!!! Take Care My Friend, I Plan On Being Around Again, So Look Out For Me. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:!!!

yep...goodwill...salvation army.,.i hitem all...i saw that video..curing with a sealamatic..they are kind of pricey..probably could use a smoothing iron..they are sealed with heat...i got one of those WM specials..bags come with a round pump..i put some bud in there..suck the air out ..and the buds flatting..idk..anyway..this bagseed i got growing in fog just added a set of leaves..3rd set..anybody know when you give nutes.right now its on Mycorrhizae..i tea in about 2.5 gal...can't believe this plant is going to live..probable a male...but i got some female rooted clones...which reminds me..got to get some clones off that PE i got going..i got to increase my inventory with this strain...yep...going to lowes next week and get a couple of foggers..10 apiece...

JAMES!!! He appears, and on Miwa s pages.. Awsumness:)
Great combination IMO - hoping your girls bulk up some more for ya mate.. Im waitin on mine to finish up, But I was told that if my girl is Indica dominant that they are usually ready when theyre cloudy and once theyve ambered ( late stages + 70 days ) maybe past their peak THC content?? So harvesting when theyre cloudy would be appropriate then, as Lucy is about 67 days into flower, 80% orange pistils and her trichs are slow to change colors so what do you guys think?
Cheers, Smokemup
