Yeah its never humid around here. Its just dry and hot (probably why spidermites can be such assholes here). I am about to switch to watering every 3 days! Soon it might be every 2 days.
Last year I was watering literally every day in late july and aug.
But on the plus side I never really got to worry about budrot or PM here. humidity is too low. On the down side when im drying buds after harvest they can be done in like 3-4 days, so i gotta really pay attention or else they get too dry and wont cure right.
I did think of some new ways to cure though that are cheap but should work nice, since glass jars really aint practical unless you harvest a pound or less. Im gonna use tote boxes with weather striping around the edge to seal them nicely. So far thats been the best i got and i think i can make them nice and air tight for long term storage. The other idea was something like barrels. Either wine barrels or oil drums, or even trashcans that have a tightning lid. I just know those rinky dinky glass jars aint gonna work.
