A little update here! So I went to the hydroponics store yesterday and picked up a couple things. Got flora bloom to complete the series as I misplaced my last one. Also got phosphoric acid 20% mix to help maintain my PH a little more consistently. It's above 8 where I'm at. So I've gotta keep an eye on it. Conditions are great right now. 80-82 and 40% humidity. Right where I want it with the LEDs. The lights are on a 20 on 4 off schedule right now. The plants weren't growing at all, and I noticed the roots that were trying to get going were drying out. So I set the sprayers in the res to come on 2 times a day for 30 min. This will keep them happy until strong roots can form. I'll snap a couple pictures in an hour or so when lights on. Happy growing peeps! Also a Happy Thanksgiving to folks below the belt! Be merry and eat well.

Here's a few photos for ya. One looks pretty sad but it's recovering I hope. I blame the ph and the dried out roots .. One looks super weird lol. The one I started a few days late. We'll see what happens haha. One looks super healthy and strong and that makes me happy. Perhaps a future mother? Time will tell.

I'm glad to say that the sad looking couple have made a turn for the better. Newer growth has perked up and roots are starting to get going! Whoop! I'm hoping to see some vigorous growth over the next couple weeks. Gotta keep an eye on my ph and ppm. I may pick up some hydroguard as well.
Here's the two sad ones perking back up
Here is the special looking one lol.
And here is the healthy happy one with roots already coming out the bottom of the mesh pot.

Slowly! I've gotta take it more easy on them next time. I never should have shut the sprayers down to once a day. Live and learn! They're stunted, but I don't have a time restraint so a little more veg doesn't hurt! My plan is to veg them for a couple of weeks then switch to flower. Ideally I'd like to get a mother out of the bunch. So I can put my other space to use. Mother/clone/veg closet. Cuttings from the mother go into expanded pellets and mesh pot in a cloner. Stay there for 3-4 weeks then into the flowering system. So long story short.
Day 1 clones into cloner/veg system.
Day 30 clones from veg into flower.
Day 60 clones into cloner/veg system.
Day 90 harvest and move clones from veg into flower.
Day 120 clones from mother into cloner/veg system.
Day 150 harvest and move clones from veg into flower.
Adjust accordingly for strains. Ideally I'll be getting a harvest aprox every 60 days. This is a lot for my notes as well haha.

I honestly have no clue! I have SO many seeds from over the years and I got a bunch from my last grow (got a hermi). Until I get things right dialed in I'll just be grabbing from there. It could be any strain I've smoked in the past 10 years LOL. I'm excited to see.
Watch it be lettuce. ...

So I just got restless and finally decided to do something about the clutter of timers and power bars in my tent. Almost everything has been moved outside the tent. Just the air pump and spray timer remain. I also got rid of the chains in there for raising and lowering. I think I have enough wattage to not have to worry about that. I could always put the chains back in, but I think this distance will be ok right through the grow. Only time will tell though!

Its a lot cleaner thats for sure. My only issue is since your plants are so far away from the light source your "giving away" free photons. An example: let's say a lightbulb at 1 meter gives an output value of 10. At half that distance the value is 4 times stronger, giving a value of 40. You may not be ready for full power on your kids right this second, but if you want to veg and bloom as soon as possible theyre gonna want all the light you can give them. I think i would refer to the manufacturers height recommendation, then watch for bleaching. Theres no doubt the lights will work where they are at, but you may end up with a better product if you bring your lights to plants... just a thought
I like using multiple lights too. The corners are always weaker than the middle of the canopy. With separate lights you can go over and give them a little something extra.

Yeah I definitely hear ya! and I've been going crazy thinking about it lol. I only have the bloom switch on for the middle light right now. I'm going to watch things closely and see how they do. If I don't like the stretch I'll throw the chains back in there and drop the lights down. Right now they're 34" from the plants. Thanks for the tips friend!! ...
