Hello hello. Just made some small changes and thought I would share! First off, I changed the batteries in my ph pen and wanted to calibrate it. I picked up some buffer at the hydro shop and it was only .2 off. She's adjusted and ready to rock! Secondly, I had a spare pc fan laying around so I made a quick res fan cooler thing. It sucks the old air out of the res and cools it off. It's dropped 3 degrees in a couple hours. I like this. I wrapped some nylon around it I had left from my filter. Thirdly, I moved the Global star into the veg/Mom room. I didn't have it turned on during veg in the flower space anyways. I think the 2 300s will be fine. My potential mom is thanking me! Finally shooting out new roots after all that shock I put her through. Here's a couple pics!

Got Stltoed to thank for that one! I just happened to come across a pc fan I had laying around and thought why not! While I wait for my more permanent cooler. Its working, so Im happy

Im just trying to get everything into its happy place and see what these spaces can do for me. Always learning and welcome input! Im constantly reading peoples journals for tips and tricks. This community is honestly so valuable its crazy. The information here is endless.

I completely agree the 420 magazine is gold for new growers because everyone helps out everyone it seems and all you have to do if you want to learn is just read other people's journals and experiences I really want to try hydro but I'm a wimp to trying new things especially when they cost money but for sure in my future but now going to try to master my own soil set up. cheers freak have a good day ! .

OoooOo I cant wait for this! I like it a lot. I love being able to keep things right where the plants want and its not very hard. Everyone will develop their own little quirks, but thats the fun of it!
Soil is awesome. Get that under your belt and feel comfy. Then when you want to jump in and have a few $ to spend (its not overly expensive) go for it! Were all here to help

Hey there 420BudzFreak, i like what your doing as I'm in my first DWC also. Actually going into my 2nd week. I have them small fans also but for a bucket i don't know how that would work. What i did was rap some reflective bubble rap around mine and it did help keep the temps down also. Staying right around 68 degrees with lights on. Good Luck on your Grow!! Here's a pic

I've frequented a few other forums. This is the only one that FEELS like everyone is pullin for each other. The others left me not asking questions for fear of a sharp answer. I so dig this place, everyone is so cool... probably all those damn Canadians! Haha
