2nd Grow: Golden Tiger Solo Plant

Managed to add another 38g of Gelato buds to the low and slow today. They had dried 2 days over two days which I've found previously meant half the weight so these may still end up at 19-20g in the end in the cure.

Been going back through this journal to determine when the GT clone started flowering = 5/18/20 (or close enough) is when I'm gonna place it. That would put her at 59 days today so theoretically almost in the 9-11 week flowering range that is expected. I see in the trichs that they are mostly cloudy but not really much if any amber. I think I'll cut a few colas down this weekend or sooner as a start to her full harvest over the next 3 weeks. I'm gonna run out of space soon with the other girls growing bigger now.

African Buzz twins both turned out to be girls. Not really sure why she showed her sex so young, but that just means they won't be overtaking the tent which is good. These two entered puberty faster than autos (and they are REGULAR photos too!)! I had been bringing them outside after lights out in order to get early sunrise (few hours before my lights come on in the tent) and more light, but after seeing pistils, I just let them stay in the tent where I have been playing with the light length - currently at 13on/11off. Will probably go to 12/12 once GT is harvested.

In hopes of making a #QUAD from both, these two had their lower two nodes removed last week, pretty much right before I saw they were starting to flower. Didn't get the chance to try it. Now, I have to decide if Caramel CBD will get the #QUAD. Maybe I'll do one and leave the other for a comparo.

This one (I will now pay attention to which is which) will be AB1 (probably correct since AB2 was stunted early and AB1 managed to overcome being pulled out by the cat!) - almost 13" tall and looking a lot better than her sister. She got up-potted yesterday and is loving her new home.

AB2 is not quite 12" tall and is having some leaf curling issues. She went into her big pot 2(3?) days ago but was looking like that beforehand and I was hoping it was just getting rootbound. Hopefully she'll rebound, but I do have another.

My lovely Honey Peach CBD is cruising along now. Started 5/26, Flower started 6/17. Veg Age: 51 days, Flower Age: 29 days...lotsa time left I think, but Herbie's says 56 days. Is that supposed to mean total age or flowering age?

The Caramel CBD babies are growing up so fast! I've been bringing them outside like the AB twins had and they have not shown their sex yet. Hoping still one is a guy. Look at golden tiger photobomb! LOL

So I went ahead and topped one of the Caramel CBD today and took the top to make a clone. Hopefully this one will be the female lol. I had the large bottom leaves on for a few minutes but decided to lose them so the roots get the energy to grow without them. #quad

I began the first harvest of GT round two today, taking 3 lower branches of that looked like they had started to turn with pistils drying out and majority brown. 19g, 24g, and 26g. Trichs were mostly cloudy but a good amount of clear so this might give me a nice cerebal high. I'll need to make sure I pay attention to these this time.

These will hang for a few hours then go into low and slow in the fridge. I discovered that the crisper was set to hold lettuce and vegetables and staying at 80% humidity so i lowered the setting and is been under 50 and 43 degrees.

Trying to make a decision to trim off a branch of Honey Peach CBD to look at trichs and first harvest. I'm being lazy since I sing feel like reaching all the way in the tent with the loupe to look and/or move GT plant and my cat screen to bring whole plant out. She's at 8 weeks right now from soil pop so in line with harvest expectations.

Those of you who've grown CBD... what trichomb level do you harvest at? Is it the same as plants for THC? The buds are still mostly white pistils and I haven't looked yet but just might slice a branch for comparison testing.

GT will be losing a few more lower branches (not these in the photo lol!) this weekend I think. She'll be at 10 weeks flower in a few days.

CCBD2:
The #quad is progressing nicely and I think we'll set the light to 12/12 in a week so I can get on with this. I'm looking for a male for i can make seeds and I'm not caring a whole lot about the yield on these.

And I topped CCBD1 the other day. After a week of growth he'll be ready to whip it out for the girls.

3 pretty colas off GT today. 22, 55, and 25g respectively. 2nd set is a spilt from Far Down the plant (not at the main stem) which may have been made from an early side topping but I can't recall for sure. Looking at trichs they're almost all cloudy with some amber. Also many degrading already with missing ball tops meaning to me I'm on the downslope of this grow so might take all the rest down tomorrow as opposed to another week for the last 3 big colas which I bet will be over 150g wet. Was already planning the other 4 remaining medium colas which should be more than 100g and the remaining lower larf for another 20-30g maybe.

2nd to last harvest of this round of golden tiger. I've got one or two more seeds in the fridge so some day she may appear again. When all is said and done I think these two plants will net me more than half a pound so, I'm cool with that. I'll take one of these groups of harvests and put into a cob this week too.

These four are 24, 17, 38, and 32g respectively.

Will be looking at getting the last 3 colas down soon if not tomorrow. Need to package up the round from yesterday and put into the crisper maybe this evening.

And then there were three...GT colas that is!

And I switched the light to 12/12 last night also so I'm gonna let this grow finish out and I'm gonna take a real break this time. It was weird however that the AB flowered almost immediately without any prompting... like an auto. I'm starting to get a little paranoid again so more legal activity will calm me I hope. I'm also growing a few CBD plants so I can decide if that helps me anxiety better.

The only plants not in flower already should also have a short flower period, or so I've read. I'll be the judge, since I've had most of my grows go more than a few weeks beyond expectations.

50-60 days from tomorrow I'll place it, right near my birthday! Since African Buzz has already been flowering for two weeks they should finish near each other. Of course, if either or both of these CCBD are male, they'll be used for fertilizing the AB (& the other CCBD) then discarded. Hopefully I'll get one of each to get 3 sets of seeds.

This batch plus the 60g package from July 4th were combined with each dried down to 21g. The latter a little too dry however so they are together 42g in a jar curing to hopefully equalize.

I also took the 3 colas from the other day that were 102g, and cut them into buds @51g. Will give them a few days in the fridge then put this group into a cob once they'redried to 30g. Time to start building up the long term stock.

The last 3 colas were taken off GT today also. they came out to 44g, 60g, and 46g. They've already each lost 3g in just a few hours in my 73 degree 46% apartment. The four that were cut yesterday will go into the fridge tomorrow.

Well I realized a week ago that I haven't been posting the heights of the plants like I used to. In that vein, here we go.

HPCBD: 25"+ ; 7+ weeks flower, total age 65 days

AB1: 17"+ ; < 3 weeks flower, total age 48 days

AB2: <16" ; < 3 weeks flower, total age 48 days

CCBD1: <17"; flip +3, total age 35 days

CCBD2 (#quad): 6"; flip +3, total age 35 days

Took off the first buds from HPCBD. Quite an impressive weight at 28g for her size. It's so dense... must be full of oil. I've got the equivalent of 9 more of these left. This bud has mostly cloudy trichs with really no amber so I'll take another down in a few days to test again. I've noticed some significant thickening in these buds the last week so can't hurt to wait longer.

Cranking along now... unfortunately looks like I won't be making seeds this time unless I do some modifications with sts or something.

Plus I cut down another 19g in two lowest branches on HPCBD and will combine with the others into package for low and slow late today. My crisper in the fridge has been maintaining around 60% humidity which is great.

So Honey Peach CBD was fully harvested today with the last main cola removed. 73g after de-leafing - so dense! What a pretty bud!!
