Quick question ... Do you prefer the 5 gallon or 7 gallon pots?

And for your outside grow ... did you plant directly into the soil?

I gotta say I really like the 7G bags. It was handier having the little extra room while doing the training for my first mainline attempt and even more so while doing this Quadline grow. I would hate to see what would of happened to the my surviving Black Sugar plant. Had I not had the extra 2G of room for growing, I don’t know if it would be as healthy as it is now after 27 weeks in there.

As for the outside grow. I started them all in small veg container, with soil from the outside garden, and dipping them in Pro Mix Root-Stim powder. Then I waited until they were showing some roots (might of jumped the gun on a couple that you see lagging behind the others) From there, they went straight into the ground with nothing added nutrient wise. I think one week I gave them a bit of B-52 from Advance Nutrients but everything else has been has been straight water from a garden hose and Mother Nature herself.

Thanks, and the more research I do, the more fun I want to have trying different things!

So, ... for my current indoor grow, ... I am going to add these two strains and grow them 12/12 from seed (I just need to figure out an appropriate pot size for them):

Cream Caramel CBD Feminized Seeds (Sweet Seeds)

Red Mandarine F1 Fast Version Feminized Seeds (Sweet Seeds)

For the outdoor grow, ... I am going to try these two strains:

Killer Kush Auto Feminized Seeds (Sweet Seeds)

Green Poison XL Auto Feminized Seeds (Sweet Seeds)​

Hey @EhCndGrower! Those outdoor girls sure are taking off - super impressive growth on them!
Congrats on the Peyote harvest - those are beautiful looking buds and it looks like they're going to pack a punch!
Loads of variety in your flower box that aren't far from harvest by the look of it - soon you're gonna have difficulties deciding which strain to smoke!

IT’S DONE!!!

Ok I have taken a bit to update this but my entire tent grow has been harvested. It was not the biggest harvest but nothing is in bad shape. My first grow I pretty much had my Gorilla Bomb ruined by mites and my Girl Scout Cookies fox-tailed on my fierce. They have gotten a nicer profile after 7 months in a jar but only use when desperate. Overall everything was about an ounce of nice mostly frosty nuggs. My Black Sugar wasn’t as crystal like (it was pretty rooted when I took it out of its 7G grow bag) Still I harvested about 3.5 ounces of dried bud and shoved a bunch of popcorn bits into a plastic bag for edibles. My sister and I decided to split the cost and bought ourselves a Dab Press 6-Ton press with the promo just about to expire. Missing my bonus press mold but had it delivered in just 2 days from the Canadian warehouse. Can’t wait to set it up soon and use that plastic bag of Black Sugar to press and get the most outta my GB and GSC that didn’t turn out from the first grow. Today I have replaced my filter for my tent and gave it a wash/cleaning. Hoping to start my 3rd tent grow this weekend (watch for new grow thread) and will trying some Auto’s this time around. Hoping to do 8 plants again with 4 auto’s and 4 feminized seeds. Fast Buds was kind enough to send me some freebies and will be trying out Smoothie, Californian Snow and Pineapple Express. The 4th will be a MK Ultra Auto From T.H. Seeds. This way I can harvest these 4 and do plenty of training on my feminized seeds before being flipped to 12/12. As for those 4 I have planned to grow Dr. Seedsman CBD, Do-Si-Dos, Purple Bud and Purple Urkle. Just waiting on my seeds from Fast Buds to arrive before I start it.

OUTSIDE GROW DAY 79/37/16

Outside is overall starting to pick up a bit. Still some clones I don’t think are going to do anything and one should of been moved a long time ago if it wanted a chance to amount to anything. My Cinderella 99s are starting to really stretch and kind of widen out branch wise. Still smallish but they are just loving this bought of really hot humid weather, minus the one that hasn’t grown anything (still won’t picture) and yet hasn’t shown anything to indicate it’s dying either. The Black Sugars are finally showing some growth on the newer ones that were just planted. My other 2 are just thriving with one over 3 feet and the other over 2 feet, but obvious growth seen everyday I check on them. My one Gorilla Zkittlez plant I just moved, I don’t see growing/recovering at all At least the other is starting to grow taller and the stem colour is starting to turn back to a healthy green again. I have a Gelat.OG plant that has really started to stretch this past week, and must of grown 5 inches in that time. I have also thrown from the tent grow a few pots that had some smallish buds let on the plant for a possible reveg. They all seem to be growing new leaves and now await for them to grow up up and away. So I shall post pics over 2 posts of the outside grow in progress. Will add my next grow into my signature when that starts too

It was sort of my 2nd try at growing it. I will say it seem to grow better on my first attempt that was by mainlining. Didn’t grow rapidly or very tall at all in my tent. I think before I accidentally killed my first try, it was roughly 15” tall with 11 weeks of veg. Where this pic came from was from my Quadline attempt which, well lived unlike the last. Just like my first attempt, it wasn’t much of a grower and even after flowering stretch only reached 16” tall. I never got any huge big colas but this strain is wonderful for sleep/pain relief. I only got 150g wet and 32g dried product out of my plant. A few factors that could of effected my overall yield was that I crammed 8 plants in a 4x4 tent. It was unfortunately in a corner of the tent where I guess the light strength would diminish. Also I found it hard in my Quadline training to found where to lollipop all the limbs. So if my first attempt lived I think my overall take would of easily doubled the yield I got in the end of this grow. Will eventually try to grow her again

Hi again ...

I wound up chatting with @Emilya and @fanleaf as I recall, and got up the courage to transplant my photoperiods into 10 gallon pots ... and then put them under a ScrOG. I never would have tried something like this without this forum ... 10 gallon pots are huge for me right now ... so I'm hoping they will pay off in flower!

Hmmm ... unless I hear something better I may pass on the Peyote Critical then. I would actually like to try the ever popular Northern Lights ... and something I just heard about ... Blue Mystic.

Yep ... some of these plants are a bit of a disappointment for me too ... but it might be my growing skills still. I just thought the plants would be a lot taller too.

When I think about it, I have the height in my tent, so I want them to stretch more!

My next grow should hopefully be starting soon (just waiting on some Fast Bud seeds to arrive) Going to try 4 autos along with 4 feminized. I’m thinking I should also get a better yield from everyone as they will have 2 different flowering cycles and should help with light exposure for the 2 harvest. I’m more Indica leaning for my needs but I will be trying a Sativa in my next next grow just to add some variety (Green Crack and Blue Dream is what I bought) Don’t know what kind of high you’re looking for and don’t know what too recommend. I tried Northern Lights from a illegal dispensary last year but it didn’t do much for me, but it might of been bad weed (which I have bought a couple of times) Best of luck with what you choose to grow


Oh, and the pupper is doing good but would prefer a little cooler weather compare to this hot and humid stuff

I'm thinking about getting some FastBud seeds from Seedsman because of the 5+5 anniversary special.

I have Blue Dream' and ZKittlez in the shopping cart ... but I'm holding off because I won't be able to plant them for another 3 months or so ... in which time, I might change my mind

There are just so many awesome strains to choose from!

Only enough room for one grow tent in the basement. Since the autos like more light and won’t need to have the 12/12 light cycle to trigger the flowering. I was thinking autos will be 9-11 weeks start to finish product. Just gonna keep training the 4 female plants and switch to 12/12 when the autos are on the cusp of finishing or after all 4 have finished completely.

Day 96/54/33 Day 5 of Flowering

Well it has been a bit since my last update. This week it seems like my girls have gone into flowering mode. Also seeing burst of quick growth of 3-4 inches on some plants just over night here and there. I did finally cut out my one C99 clone that won’t grow and yet won’t die, and the reveg on the C99 is also lacking regrowth. Back from the dead is my one Gorilla Zkittlez I had pretty much written of. Out of nowhere it just decided to regrow out of the stunted clone’s first attempt. It isn’t big but growing every day I check on her. Speaking of reveg, my Gelat.OG and Black Domina are growing very nicely this past week. Like my GZ, it just came out of no where and burst with new growth. Hoping it will continue to grow upwards and allow some new buds to be harvested later. Plus I also started my 3rd tent grow/journal on here and you can check it out in my signature below. So my update will be split between 2 posts to accommodate all my updated pics

Day 110/68/47 Day 19 of Flowering

It has been about 2 weeks since I last updated. They are really starting to stack nicely and over the past 3-5 days have really started to stretch. I haven’t done any nutrients and have been going on rain water and regular garden hose watering when needed. The smell I’m surprise hasn’t been too bad but get up close to my Black Sugar and Yep it’s there. My biggest surprise has been my attempted reveg/monster cropping of my Black Domina. It is well over the original size of when I harvested it back in mid July. The plant barely got to over a foot tall but now stands close to 23” tall. My Gelat.OG one is bushy and it too growing taller than initial grow at 18” tall. Some deficiencies seem present with black splotches here and there but most of the plant is green and healthy. So again I shall do this in 2 separate posts to get all my pics in

DAY 121/78/58 DAY 30 FLOWERING

Well they are starting the thicken up cola wise, but I also had what was probably their last big final flowering stretch. Not really noticing any big skunky smell yet from a distance or just walking about in the backyard. Although if you put your nose right up to them, you get a pretty strong smelling presence. I’m not complaining because I don’t want any neighbours complaining or bring the popo coming my way. Still haven’t really added any nutrients to the grow but I think I might be in the coming weeks as we get closer to the end. Have found a few leaves with mite damage and webbing on them but overall they aren’t in abundance and are easily removable. Just from looking at their progress I tend to think End of September or very early October for harvesting. Hopefully the weather will stay favourable until then, as we have had some cooler nights lately. The only thing I like about that is that I’m already seeing some purple hues on my reveg Gelat.OG and Black Domina plants. My real goal is to hopefully get a very colourful looking Fruity Pebbles plant like I see online. So again 2 posts with my latest updated pics.
