Hey Moony i actually use Vivosun. That particular one is a super quiet 4 inch, they have 6 available. Does a fantastic job with air distribution. I have a different unit on the flower tent but not nearly as quiet as on the veg tent (you can't even hear that blow) Honestly though, I think they both provide the same amount of air movement.

Here they are:

Ahh sweet. I have seen the different manufacturers. They all look like pretty much the same model whether it's ac infinity, Mars, vivosun and the generic no name on amazon. All literally look like same model but have different prices and different amount of air flow. The highest I've found is the AC infinity but because they all look so alike I dunno if ac infinity are 100% honest about the CFM this is what they say for 4 inch :

• Duct Size: 4” | Dimensions: 6.9 x 11.9 x 7.4 in. | Airflow: 205 CFM | Noise: 28 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball

They are pulling consistently more than others of same size. Unsure if ti's is lieing or they have more airflow.

I think it's a marketing game. I wouldn't get the cheap cheap one but I think they are pretty much one in the same. Do you remember My Cousin Vinny? Movie with Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei?

In the store picking out cans of tuna and he says this one is 13 cents more expensive and I don't know that brand--the response was "you pay for marketing"

Very good point. I'm thinking of going for a either AC infinity or Mars hydro. Vivosun isn't really available in UK. I can get either the Mars or the AC for around the same price which isn't a bad price at all for an EC fan 6 inch. As long as they are quiet and move air that's all I really want lol. I'm currently using a cam fan which has served me well for along time but I want something I can adjust when the lights are off so it keeps smell down but not running full blast to save bit on electric and also to help I'm planning on getting the 6 inch even tho I probably only need 4 so I can use it on lower setting when on full. Also maybe lowering noise.

@Carcass @West Hippie I put the mosquito dunks in water last night and into her pot this morning. I just went to check on her and I am FLOORED by the amount of gnats that are coming up out of the woodwork. I am aghast at best. I've never seen anything like this before...I'd take pictures but I don't want to open the tent. @Tokin Roll I also dropped the fan down low and they are scattering like crazy....I am disgusted almost, how is Ammy alive is what I want to know, with all these little fuckers everywhere having apparently been living deep in her soil!

Sounds like you started the dunk therapy just in time!

A little tip: Probably half the gnats are coming out of the drain holes on your pots- after you water them and the pot stops draining, put some masking tape over the drain holes- adult gnats only live for 3 days, so the tape will help keep them out of your way till they die of old age, and the dunk water you just used will kill the larva before they turn into more gnats...

I'm not sure what that is. I'm on a fixed rate but I don't think you can get fixed monthly price bills in uk

My electric company will do an average bill over the year and figure out a kw cost p hour and that will be your bill year round, as it would be different depending on the season per say. With me, I flipped to the average bill so my electric wouldn't go up when I added on the tents and started using the standing AC unit and the radiant heat now for the winter as that room is an addition and not on my central air

And @Krissi1982 - don’t underestimate those stupid hanging glue trap strips. My son bought me a bonsai one Father’s Day that was infested and my room was overtaken in like two days, I hadn’t heard of the bits and hung the glue strips. Within 3 days it was very grossly filled up to the point where you couldn’t see the tape anymore but they were gone from that point forward. Just remember - somethings can’t be unseen lol

I have these sticky long glue things and they get stuck to the leaves and the tent and the lights and shit and then on my fingers....idk I like them they work well in the garage for sure!!! I've seen it grossed up and it's wicked gross
