No wonder most of your flower pics are sideways...those branches are so stacked there's now way they can hold the weight! Ammy is a beauty. :thumb:

Have you considered yo-yos to hold it off the sides of the tent (and to prevent Noah from passing through)?
Thanks a bunch Shed....

If you ever wondered, now you know lol

No, I haven't. I don't know if we are on the same page or I'm unsure of terminology-are we talking about actual yo yos or the strings with attachments I use for my lights?!

Oh sorry! Plant yo-yos:

Yep, see. Never heard of that before. You can only imagine what I was picturing in my head :lot-o-toke:What do I hang them from? The pvc in the tent?

So I'm down to 1 toad from 3. Bruce Wayne and Penguin croaked their last croaks-only The Joker remains..... I don't think my son notices so much and at least I'm better with my plants than I clearly am with amphibians:rolleyes:

I'm beginning to think that when I check her Monday, I will be calling in a friend for Wednesday and or Friday to help me start harvesting.

Nothing interesting to note, little photo opp just now...had to hold up some branches to try to get better pictures.

Hope you can relax a little and enjoy your Sunday!

:thanks: for dropping by!

Off topic but it's Sunday so my propagated bamboo farm needs a water change. Wished I had cloned Ammy when I could have....
Hello Chickadee :)

You can still clone her. It will be a long process to Reveg, but it can be done.

I am trying to bud clone, or monstercrop as it’s called in here, my Peyote Critical. Like you I can’t let my plants go.

I’ll show you which bit I’d take as a clone.

I’d clone from down low.

Thank you so much Trala! I don't want to fully part with her but I think I want to harvest her. I think she is strong enough for the clones to take. I may snip one or two clippings then!!!

SNEAK PEAK!!!

Well it happened on accident as I was pre trimming the bottom half somehow, but here is a first glimpse of the buds to come. Just got her little bud site by a hair....

I use a rooting agent.

I use a clean Stanley knife, I think you call them box cutters. Clean plant pot, and a nursery grade propergating mix, I’m not gonna lie. It takes fucking AGES for them to come back. In my thread I’ve got a pic of a Tangerine Dream that was a little monster. I took that pic yesterday, day 50 in flower. I currently have 4 more little monsters hopefully cooking that you can see too.

We do call them box cutters! You're so good!!!! I can be patient I guess....that is a long time for me to watch nothing happen but she is worth it!!! I appreciate you dropping by very much for some advice Trala!!!!

Oh you’re welcome.

I don’t have access to seeds like you do. And the 6 Barney’s seeds I have grown were all gifted to me, the first 3 were the Tangerine Dreams, which is still going nearly a year on lolll.

I think the thing I like about this method is you take something that looks like a freak that will never amount to anything. And with care, a gentle hand and love you can’t turn it into something so beautiful and extraordinary. Every time I grow one I feel like I’m fixing a broken star so it can shine.

I love how elegantly you put that. I am very lucky to have the accessibility to seeds like I do; on another note, it makes it so easy for me that I never even think to start a new kind of energy with them. I've always had the mindset that once I'm done with them, that energy will go somewhere else it's needed. This time, maybe I'll try to keep some of that shine and grow my own little star :peace::love:

Since you haven't chopped yet you can also reveg that plant. If you're interested, here is Van Stank's reveg method for plants you're about to harvest:
The key to revegging most strain starts with understanding the roots. Most strains stop growing roots after the stretch when they really start building the buds. In order to reveg a plant, you need to get the roots to start growing again. You do this by switching the lighting. So about 10 days before you intend to harvest a plant you should switch that plant back to an 18-6 lighting schedule. It generally takes 10-14 days (very similar to cloning) for the roots to transition back to vegging roots.

So you move the plant or plants back to 18-6 and 10 days go by.......time to chop the plant. Take 95% of the buds off the plant or plants. Leave 5-7 small nugs with a few leaves on it and continue to reveg under 18-6 until you start to see the new growth appear. If by some weird chance you see any growth before you harvest, that should be your signal to harvest it.

If you are a nute grower I would imagine you would need to switch back to mild veg nutes....but with soil I don't deal with any of that.

The key is to start the 18-6 lighting before you go chopping. Also helps not to let the plant completely die....so if you have any intention of revegging a plant, I recommend chopping a bit on the early side to help bring her back into vegging.

Also, those are some of the frostiest buds ever!

I was contemplating it but I need the space right now!!! I don't just want her hanging out somewhere outside of a tent. Next time I have an opportunity, I will absolutely try it out! I'll be reading up on Van Stanks Methodology in the interim. As for the buds, thanks man! Can't wait to see what resin-ates after 48 of dark!

:theband:

Received notice that @Prescription Blend will be supplying their fantastic nutrient blend for grow #4!

In addition, I won the @ParfactWorks HB 1500 light which will soon be replacing the main unit in my veg tent!!!

Both of these fantastic sponsors will be tagged along and included in the name of my next journal-said to begin as soon as Ammy is done harvesting so please follow along with us! Hope I can do a great job at promoting these wonderful product lines!

Thanks @West Hippie because I never would have went on the sites or tried to talk to sponsors without your direction!

Here are some trich update pics of my main girl and how I am currently 'hang drying' my littles nugget (just for laughs, I threw it on there....)
Based off of these pictures, I may just wait til the weekend with Ammy as I was going to throw her in the dark tonight. That bud was halfway down, I'll have to do a top branch check later this afternoon.

Appreciate everyone coming by to visit so much! Have a great day! :thanks::passitleft:

Insert music (little word play):

Gold star if you know what song this is from...

"I lean from town to town. I'm as hap-py as a clown...."

She gave me some beautiful pics just before and I wanted to share her with you
