no the electric causes the silver to oxidise and become water soluble so grinding it wont do that. it has to happen through electrolosis .
Aahhh ok that makes sense. That's so cool tho I gonna make my own now. Well that $ conversion still in question tho lol what's 1 dollar in quid ? What's your currency neme lol

also make sure you mak eit when you use it as it only pasts a short while intil the silver comes out fo the water and settles at the bottom , i baughtr 50pm solution and by the timei used it it had gone to only 30ppm , you can also make it with tweo chemicals which is slightly cheaper plus you only need to mix as much as you need to use meaning ytou can keep the powdered chemicals stored for later use , its about £15 for 3kg of one ingrediant and you only need a few grams and its £50 for 100g of the other part of the solution and you only use just under half to make one litre which will do one maybe two plants

Silver thiosulfate (STS) is commonly used in plant biology, particularly to prevent ethylene action, which delays flower senescence. To prepare silver thiosulfate, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

  1. Silver Nitrate (AgNO3AgNO_3AgNO3): Available in pure form from chemical supply stores.
  2. Sodium Thiosulfate (Na2S2O3Na_2S_2O_3Na2S2O3): Typically available as a pentahydrate (Na2S2O3⋅5H2ONa_2S_2O_3 \cdot 5H_2ONa2S2O3⋅5H2O) in chemical stores.

Preparation

  1. Distilled Water: Use to dissolve the chemicals to avoid contamination.
  2. Glassware: Non-reactive containers, such as beakers or jars, to prepare solutions.
  3. Stirring Rod: To mix solutions thoroughly.

Nice so that's expensive af bro like 120 $ for one full treatment on one plant !!! Am I getting the math right ? Sheesh it's about 50 to 70$ for a liter so you actually are saving a bit of $ like 20 or 35 $ !!?? The mix has a much longer half life and you make more for less . Good shizz bro👌😎👍

yea i am going the silver thiosulfate not coloidal silver as its slightly cheaper and you can store the unmixed ingrediants to use another time . its the silver nitrate its expensive but cheaper than coins plus more reliable as witht he coin method you wil have tom monitor it all the time to get the right ppm watching it bubble all night waiting for the right amount of silver to desolve of the coins . although with the chemical route you have to use gloves which is a given .

plus it should work for any plant that is male and female like cannabis so if you have some plants you want to breed lol, am i getting that right most plants in anture areboth sex ? and prefer pollen from another plant though. like my cherry tomatos i can knock the flowers to polenate itself but the best way is two different plants cross polinating each other ?

Yea you right most likr my straw berries, they pollinate themselves. Not all but most.

It's crazy how they work,I been addicted to all types a plants for awhile now. I do plan on preserving the keepers in a seed line. Maybe even sell some, ever since I saw cut above n they clone packaging I been thinking about selling some clones n seed too. Locally ofc an under the table. Mainly people I already know.

lol yea i woul dlove a strawbery plant i got the seeds but they never popped and i put them in the fridge and my irdge gets down to nearly 0 if i have it any lower my milk freezes . i am thinking of setting one off in the tent let it get bigish before i put it outside .

How could whatever you ended up with after 24 weeks possibly be worth what it cost after that long? That is a lot of extra electricity, water, food and time.

2-3x the cost is what horrifies me tbh. I got into growing to save myself money, this is definitely not the way to do that.

I am very curious tho if you had seeds in that plant. I had one that wouldn't go to amber and it turned out she was making babies (gotta love having neighbors that let the boys grow)
slow amber color means a slow mature time - as mentioned before - trichomes turn amber (once they staRT) at the rate of 5% PER WEEK

A 6 month flower is very unpractical for most,I diddnt even know it was possible. The cost doesn't change that much in terms of watts and input but that time frame is something else. Did it really flower that long. What percentage of increase from regular grow did it produce if any,in the end ? What was the gram per watt ?
