Update: raised the lights 6", girls are trying to grow into them. Canopy has filled all the way in, nowhere left to go but up.

Update: it's a good thing I do yoga, cuz defoliating under the canopy on the back 2 was a stretch! Flowers are on their way, bagseed fruity pebbles og is a female, Purple Mana is a female, and we've got some 6 strain madness happening in this 4x4.
Beautiful. How many lights you got in there anyway, three? Do you know what your total wattage is by chance?

3 budget LEDs. Mars Hydro TSW-2000, non-sponsor 240 watt blurple, non-sponsor 100 watt quantum. About 640 total watts. I would kill for some better lighting but it's not in my budget.

Update: rolling right along. It's been a long time since I grew a plant as stretchy as this platinum Punch.
Damn you aren't joking, look at her going nuts! Gorgeous tent Braddah.

I had a haze pheno Jack Herer that started it's flowering cycle with stretched nodes and a bud structure like yours. It was neat to see the flowers fill in between those nodes.

This is an amazing photo.

Update: finally had the energy to spend a few hours in the tent working tonight. Got the second net installed, and did a more thorough sub-canopy defoliation.

Found a journal in progress on another sight where the grower is achieving 1 lb per plant (x4 plants) in a 4x4 using scrog, rdwc, and 8 100w cheapo Amazon lights. Interesting thing was his use of several upfiring lights for sub-canopy illumination.

Sticky Glue is looking like it's going to live up to it's name.

They look great @Braddah Waiheesohai. So this dude getting a pound a plant and his up lighting....do you mean side lighting? Or lights facing up hitting the underside of the leaves?

This is the dudes room at week 4 of flower in his current grow. They are already STACKED.

And here's his previous grow just before harvest. 3.3 pounds from 3 plants with budget LEDs. He says they are Jungle Boys genetics. Makes me think there might be something to those sub-canopy lights.

Got outside today to tend my poor neglected garden. Got the purple Mana transplanted into some Promix with geoflora bloom! I expect lots of powdery mildew and bugs, this is just a fun side project and anything we get from her is a bonus. She's an 11 week Sativa so we're probably looking at an October harvest if she makes it.

Looking great over here Braddah!

Purple Mana seems to be adjusting well to the supercropping and transition to real sunshine.
Don't know why I lived in the thought that you live in the UK :hmmmm::laughtwo:
And bet Purple Mana just needs a bit of love and care to thrive!

PS. Any idea what kind of nutrient ratios you input to the perlite Hempys?
Due the perlite "sandy" and airy appearance it should not hold much anything. I'm struggling with my another perlite bucket as the runoff EC don't like to drop below 0.5 …Wondering where those remaining salts come from :hmmmm:

Yo bruv! Ha when I was young some friends called me a chameleon. Everywhere I go people think they know me from somewhere. Funny cuz I'm a bit of a hermit with terrible people skills.

Strange about your ec. I'm just following the feed chart for prescription blend atm, and not checking my runoff. Perlite does hold onto more than you'll think, it has tons of teeny tiny holes that soak up salts etc. A warm water flush should help clear it out. Bluter and Felipe both recommend flushing a few times a grow in perlite. As hempy is so fast paced you should be able to hit it with any bennies you use again after a flush and they should repopulate pretty quickly.

As for ratios Felipe recommends npk of 5-1-6, Ca around 80-90ppm, mg around 40ppm, fe of at least 2ppm, and a full range of micros.

I shoot for 150ppm of N, 30 of P, 180 of K, 90 Ca, 40 mg, between 20-200 S, 0.4 b, 2 fe, .5-4 mn, .45 zn, .06 cu, .05 mo, .04 co.

Hope this helps, let me know if I totally misunderstood your question.

Big luv bruv.

Mind blown :laughtwo: And bet every long term pot head is more or less hermit.

You just gave me a lil new perspective. Noticed when setup the gravity feed - all the finest perlites which gets into the drippers they basicly melt down to white mush when its wet enough.
So I guess there might be some wet perlite dust in bottom of the res which could be holding the salts.

Ohh never thought about the warm water. I thought thats just nono in every possible "hydro".
I've always gave them 19-21C water

Yeah it was 150 N, 30 P, 180 K and Ca 80-90 and Mg up to max ~55.
Actually I made a new diluted mix which is close to these values just little lower N&K.

And yes, thats what I was asking! Reason for asking it was because wanted to hear an opinion if there would be any "higher Potassium requirements" for perlite hempies …As perlite has 0 CEC, but most of the nutrient uptake happens via rez on the bottom. So the whole question didn’t really lead to anything.

Might give a shot for the warm water flush and I'll prob stick to the new ~650-700ppm feed.
This clarified some of my thoughts about the hempies as it's my first round.

Big luv and thanks my hempy bruver! :Namaste:
PS. Lol wish this guy @FelipeBlu would get active again. If you happen to read this you were supposed to hold my hand through the 1st hempy round. Jokes, get active again Mr. Blu yall miss you.
