Good lord, I wish I had the discipline to wait a week between postings, it really dramatizes the amount of change. This is crazy. That's awesome. Looks like the one took a bit more work to screen up than the others, eh? Also, can you please center the center plant in the center of the middle frame? It's driving me nuts. Lmao!!!! I joke, I see you are wise to have it on that side where it will be needed more than the other cuz that one big girl. Smart by you. Good foresight.

Ha! Don't worry, she's getting bent over and should fill that rectangle nicely.

Yeah the Platinum Punch has HUGE internodals, real stretchy lady :)

I'm wondering if your Fruity Pebbles x Alien OG is called, officially, Fruity Pebbles OG? Reason I ask is because that would make it the only example I know of anywhere of a grow showing at least one of the parents of my Fruity Pebble Cookies. These are Ethos pre releases and there's no info on them in their catalog except for the parents, which are Fruity Pebbles OG x Girl Scout Cookies. Do you think what you are growing and my one parent strain are one in the same? (or is it "one AND the same?" lol)

It absolutely is Fruity Pebbles OG. It's bagseed so... Kinda risky. But yeah I think it looks a lot like yours did in veg. Can't wait to compare the finished products, I'm sure yours will be winners, cookie crosses usually rock, and the nug this seed came from was epic.

Back from vacation and WOW have they grown in a week. Added net #1 and switched them into flower.

Yippee they big gals already! Sucha teenagers :laughtwo:

So I was wondering how do you deal with the algae on top of the perlite? Or do you at all?
The very top layer of perlite got some greenish shades after three weeks - I was thinking should I cover it to prevent it from spreading.

It doesn't form actual algae, green perlite just looks a bit uggly :Rasta:

Have a nice day bruvvv!

Hard to say about this yet.
Tip of the bracts looks a bit burnt, but just googled it and appears to be a symptom of a Calcium deficiency.
Does the new growth appear twisted at all, or is there any foliar symptoms on the newest growth points?
As you just flipped them their gonna need a decent ”nute bump up”. I guess @Prescription Blend got you covered with the right ratios to support the stretch phase? :)

Give it couple more days then you're prob able to sex it. …When something comes out from those nodes.

Cool! Thanks! Oh, this will be fun to see the two finished. Sure wish I could come visit your neck of the woods and do the comparison there.....

I've read people use h202 flushes, this is probably your best bet to clean the perlite.
I suppose you could cover it with a layer of hydroton clay balls.

My understanding is that the algae needs light to grow, and wont get very deep into the perlite. So while unsightly, its harmless and will die back once the plant establishes a solid canopy.

Hydrogen peroxide aint an option as I've fed them time to time Hydroguard, zyms and some other beneficials.

And ye the algae is visible only on the very top layer where the light reaches.
Hydroton layer on top could be good. I think hydroton holds water a bit better than perlite.

So I took a surf trip last week or the week before, hard to keep track right now. The last night of the trip the boys and I went on a bit of a bender. I woke up to an epic hangover that rolled straight into covid. It's been really kicking my butt! Fertigation is about all I can manage and the tent is turning into a bit of a jungle. I'm hoping to be well enough to get in the tent for some taming and defoliation in the next week or so. It may be a minute before I post another update, my heads all foggy and I'm having a hard time concentrating. Stay safe out there friends!

Update: it's a good thing I do yoga, cuz defoliating under the canopy on the back 2 was a stretch! Flowers are on their way, bagseed fruity pebbles og is a female, Purple Mana is a female, and we've got some 6 strain madness happening in this 4x4.

Fantastic.
The way my setup is, I can't reach the back plant very well. So it will just have to go without the haircut underneath the screen. I've been trimming leaves on top of the screen to get better light penetration and airflow.

I had to crawl and squeeze in under the net on my belly to get to that back corner.

When I try something like that, I 'll have an accident. One of the questions I ask myself before doing something that has a possibility of going wrong, is if I do it and mess something up, can it be worse than leaving it be.
This usually applies to wrenching on one of the autos or bikes. :cheesygrinsmiley:
