Stupidly put a couple raisins on the floor for the ladybugs and when I opened the tent this morning it was ants galore! So I took everything out and sprayed some ant killer with some water to rinse the area afterwards. The ladybugs seem pretty tame and not many escaped during the process.
Plants seem to be holding up decent for the time being, although I'm starting to see thrips on only the smallest plant now, near the base of the pot. And that seems to be the one I keep seeing ladybugs crawling up.
Any tips for watering? They like to hang out in the soil
Well, turns out I am a terrible insect father. Most of the ladybugs are dead overnight. Not sure what happened. They had plenty of food and water. Maybe the heat killed them. Oh well. Will be getting some sort of insecticide soon.
The sherb is also super moist still and I watered 3 days ago. Not sure what's going on
This grow is turning out to be a bit trickier than I intended with all the bugs.
Found some ladybugs wandering around in their home and hanging out on the plants this morning.
I have water and food in there still.
Maybe they will lay eggs. Not sure.
Appears as if the thrips are making their way up to the top now.
This was my plant last year at this time. Hell's OG
Update Day 20: Topdressed 3 of the plants with Dr Earth Flower Girl and Xtreme Gardening Mykos. (Lightly scratched in). Hope it's not too early for bloom nutes but I feel like I started too late last year.
They were also watered with Recharge.
Letting the Sherbet go another day or two. Although she appears to be going into flower now before the others. Will most likely give her food and water tomorrow. Is it strange that this is flowering with no stretch at all? Genetics? Stress?
Busy, busy. Hey Abs. Good to see the HB pulling through. Because she wasn’t flowering yet you should still see veg-pace root growth once she gets going again. She should have new feet back under herself just in time.
Dogs Mine used to always show an interest in the blood meal I used to use.
I’ve heard of spraying diluted milk (with a drop of dish soap) for the soft bodied greeblies. Not sure how effective it is, but it might meet your current budget?
I’ll be interested how you make out with the rosemary oil too?
Yo @DonkeyDick ! Thanks for checking out my grow again this round. I do have rosemary oil coming soon! Will be great if it works.
The bone meal seems to be the cause of this situation with the flower girl recently added including bone and blood meal in the ingredients.
The HB is under a kitchen light 24/7 right now as I don't have anything else yet. My concern is the plant focusing on photosynthesis more than creating roots the way it was praying all day today. Cutting leaves 40% on one of the smaller clones didn't seem to help, but I'm sure it can be of benefit for some plants.
Will keep that dilluted milk in mind. Always looking for some budget friendly solutions... Thanks man
