some worse than others, some with nanas spread at all branch joints & return after plucking, some with not so many yet still return after plucking, some with only a few that do not return after plucking, regardless i will destroy the seed of the types that return after plucking and keep the non returning type, im prepared that up to 80-90% of my pollen chucks may not make the grade, have been lucky in years past where up to 40% have made the grade, eg the GDP x C99 pollen chuck is more stable than most commercially bought types, grown at least 1.5k of those out with only 2 herm after very bad errors made by myself to stress them to the max, a very solid strain with +90% female to male ratio, pollen chucks can be as good as anything available anywhere though gotta be prepared there will be lots of flops in between those gem outcomes such as the GDP x C99You getting true hamaprodites (male/female 50%) or just nanners down low.
I run a fair amount of IHG gear and just clean out the btm 3rd of the plant early in flower and solves that issue.
It's my experience that this is somewhat common with the HIGH THC hybrids. Cleaning up the under-skirt is very helpful.
*ive been very fortunate with the IHG gear & had no herm issues, though ive read on other forums a fair number of people have had herm issues, have a small herm issue with the IHG Platinum Buffalo x GDP x C99 pollen chuck, though the other IHG pollen chucks are good for no herm probs
**yes its also my rule of thumb to chop out the lower 1/3rd of the branch growth on my plants as it contributes to better bud growth on the upper, though the nanas are mostly on the upper branch joins ive found?
