Hi Mullen Farms, I usually abbreviate user names but I didn't want to call you a "MF." lol

Cangrowulations on your first step into healing yourself. Your plants are healthy and fabulous.

If I may offer some advice because I want you to super achieve!

I would save defoliations until you are ready to flip into flower. If your plants are overgrown in veg then you don't have a choice but to defoliate. And most Sativa plants would warrant consistent grooming, but you're starter plants don't need it so early. You'll get there eventually with those massive pots. Aim high! lol

Also, I have used those clips you bought and I swear by them because you don't have to make holes in your pots and they will wrestle the biggest of bushes. lol.

I don't think your flowers will be too big to get back inside the tent but if you are LST-ing, that is a genuine concern for you. Just give your smallest doorway some measurement and just keep that in the back of your mind while you train your plants horizontally.

Lastly, because I want you to have the biggest harvest possible without overloading your space, I would encourage you to veg your plants longer. I believe you have the right concept about early flowering with Sativas cause they DO grow like a weed. However, I think your plants could have gone longer.

Your first grow is soooo much better than mine, in fact, I think you're ahead of most first timers. And the quality of your seeds was a great decision because you can abuse better genetics than sketchy genetics, because sketch genetics will most likely come with issues that aren't your fault. So A++++++ all the way.

PS. Congrats to fam for getting their dispensary licence. I  your smile! With great respect for your past, present and future. G2HM

Hey - I had a concern about the humidity in the flower tent .... mine would shoot from 50-88% when the lights were out .
I was gonna let it slide but a few other concerned people brought to my attention the many variables with humidity in flower.
I'm steady 35-45 % now ....
A dehumidifier is probably something to think about .
I didn't want to have any unneeded worries lol
It's actually been in a few threads lately .

Also I think the happy frog is high in calcium / magnesium for the little ones to get started in - so I'm learning that plain water works well until that's all depleted from the soil . I think it's good for like 5 weeks .

I noticed your readings were at like 1800 at runoff or something right?

So I have a Frigidaire 50-Pint 3-Speed Dehumidifier-on the way. That should fix humidity. Temperature I'm not really worried about. 1 week until I get paid again and then we will get the second tent and a co2 generator + regulator.

In my opinion you can never over feed with cal mag. The plants use it up in photosynthesis rapidly. The #1 problem in a healthy garden is a magnesium deficiency.

Cool- I keep my dehumidifier outside the tent and it gets emptied twice a day keeps everything balanced

Welcome! Thank you for the support!

So I defoliated early on the SSH due to them being given to me as sickly clones. Let them grow a little bit, defoliated sickly leaves then topped, them gave time to recoup. The second defoliation was pre flower flip to get l precious light on growth nodes.

So I'll have to start taking pictures of the root balls, when I transplanted from 1 gallon to 5 gallon pots they where root bound. When I transplanted from 5 gallon to the ten gallon pots the roots where starting to grow through the smarty pots. Massive pots for massive root balls.

I might try the clips, right now I just wire tie straight into the soil.

The outside ladies are going to be trained using the manifold technique. Just worried about the flowering stretch and wether I can produce enough indoor light to flower outdoor veg. If the ladies India had not been LST then they would habe been 2ft+ tall adt light switch. They where clones for 1 month, vegetative for 3 weeks.

Thanks!! I really appreciate the love. I'm lucky, The Grow Boss lives near me and I am absorbing all the knowledge I can from him. 100% prevented me from being a salt farmer lol. I only buy from reputable sources. SSH clones are Shantibaba genetics, the Aussie Blues are AMS.

Thanks come back and enjoy any time!!

Aussie Blues 3 1/2 weeks from seed. They where at 5th-6th node today. Going for a manifold on these babies. Just copied their heads off down to 3rd node. Then removed all other leaves/growth tops besides 3rd node. Out was a terrible thing to watch made me sad.

Not shure if the bottom right one will make it. It's remaining leaves are heat damaged from the Nevada sun.
