1st Grow - Soil - CFL - High DIY Level

looks like what i had but mine was in a later stage, might it be mag deficiency ? i thought mine was phosphorous def but a fellow grower confirmed mine was actually magnesium def,so wait till you get a second opinion before you treat,i found a cracking thread on here with real pics of deficiency's not sketched ones and was brill .. only problem is i forgot to bookmark it i will look for it later on and then post it here for you :-)

Your screen came out really nice man, for a DIY budget grow, it looks quite nice, and pretty serious. And your plants are looking great so far, except for the small deficiency, but that can be easily fixed since you caught it early.

So far I'm just tracking it .. I'm not gonna fix what I dont understand. It seems to run from the edges in, and the leaf feels a bit drie at the affected places.
It does not seem to get worse .. but it does not look like any of the pictures I've seen regarding a starting deficiency, and it cant be a progressive stage.

Is that a deficiency or maybe a little "burn". what are you using for nutes and also water source.

I've considered this as well .. mainly due to what I stated in my reply to Antics.

The soil has some base nutes for seedlings and I added about 2 spoons of universal garden fertilizer .. both time release I think .. NPK values in first post. It already killed a seedling I think .. (see page 1) .. and is one of the things I will do differently next time ..

The spots on the leaf didnt get worse .. will check again in an hour, and update with pics if anything interesting can be seen.

:thanks:

Those screws sticking out from under the SCROG frame look like some sort of death trap in The Predator. Those will be really dangerous with all the reaching under the screen that will be happening. I hope you don't get punctured. Cool setup though!

They are nails .. and I would really advice to clip them short :cheesygrinsmiley:.. I was too lazy tho .. and everytime I forget, it teaches me why I had to remind myself to remind myself to not be so damn lazy all the time :thedoubletake:

I will probably end up clipping the near side :cheesygrinsmiley:

BTW: I switched to 12/12 ... will be following diminishing light schedule .. for now I just removed the 1 hour of light in the GLR.

So far I didnt have any encounters with the nails .. but it's pretty unfriendly to people not aware of it, or accustomed to it :p
I think I'll probably keep 'em there as a reminder to be gentle in there ;)

Any tips or advice still more then welcome .. I'm as much a spectator in this as you all are :cheertwo:

:thanks: for watching, as always. :bravo:

Have you considered removing that fan leave that has the discoloration on it, seems like it was just a fluke as it has not spread or infected the rest of the plant. They are looking nice can't wait to see some good bud sites developing.

It seems most of the leave is still intact, so I decided to just leave it be .. afaik, it doesnt use energy, it just stores a bit, right ?

Your plants look amazing and healthy!

I see you just flipped to flower. Depending on how much stretch occurrs you may need to raise your trellis eventually. Do you have a plan in case you need to raise it?
