Looking forward to more pics. Hint hint ;)

Very early to put her into flowering...? She is a little girl still!

Have you turned your light around yet? I think that will be good for her too.

Northern light's is a low to medium yield strain flowers appear very fast with little stretch so a longer veg. is necessary:tokin:.

You ask and you shall recieve lol. And no I have not figured a way to do it. What I did do is line most of the closet with reflective material for now.the only thing that bothers me is the yellowing on the two lower leaf's.

Also I water about every 3 days with 1/2 a gallon. Once with regular tap water and one with fox farm grow big and big bloom also added some other products that I cant think of off the top of my head, one is nitrogen rich. both ph balanced and allow to sit for at least a hour.

Hmmm eventually I would seuggest finding a way to hand in horizontally. All reflectors(as far as I know) come with hanging supports and they aren't super expensive. All the light comes out the side on those hid lamps, that and the with all that tension on the connection points I worry that one day you will find your light disconnected and on the floor :(

You can even find cheap reflectors out of china or you can build one fairly easily if you have the do-it-yourself-ness :)

I do still have the cooltube but the glass broke maybe I can rig it next time I do some work in the room. Trying not to disturb her as much as possible.

Ohhhh nice! Not a big deal if the glass is broken, you should be able to remove that glass bit no problem and just use the hanging apparatus. :) Looking good btw, I should have said that too :p hahahaha

I second that, bulbs have a very dead spot on the end where you have them. If you can't find the reflector, a few scraps of metal or wire can just as easily rig your bulb and wire so it will stand horizontal to the floor. Not as pretty but more lovely light than the style is it in now

Here are some new herb porn for you guys to look at. leafs are sagging a bit I think due to the light issue at hand. Crossing my finger I get the wood I need to hang the light properly.

Bad news. Het got up to 90 and the plant didn't like it much looks like she is dying but Im cooling her off as we speak. Cross your fingers she was really droopy.

Hey bud, thanks for the invite.

I will second what the others have been saying about the light. Invest in a cheap reflector, or make one out of cardboard and mylar, then hang the light horizontally. Also, you don't want to put that light too close to the plant. HPS puts out a lot of heat. TO give you an idea, my 400w HPS is about 2.5 ft from the canopy.

Get a cheap fan in there. You want some air movement, and it will help to cool things down a bit. The fan shouldn't be blowing directly on the plants though.

pH your nute mix or water down to about 5.7pH for coco.

Definitely use the pot weight method for watering. I really struggled with over watering on my first grow. I just couldn't wrap my head around letting the pot dry out too much. MJ doesn't like it too wet. When the pot feels very light, then you water/feed. Not before. It doesn't matter if they haven't had any water or nutes for a while. Don't stick to a rigid 3 day watering/feeding cycle. When I finally cottoned on to this fact, the health of my plants improved drastically. People will keep telling you not to over-water, but it takes a while to wrap your head around it. It is just one of those things you are going to have to take on faith until you see the results for yourself.

Good luck bud!

Nice new growing going on! I'm sure she will forgive you for the little bit of overheating, just think where she could be living in the wild - she has it good where she is :)

xx
