1st Grow - Nirvana Bubblicious & 2 Nirvana Mixed Seeds

Dang boblove just checking in again and i am really impressed brother .:high-five:You hung in there didnt panic most of all you were willing to listen not only to your 420 family but listen to what the ladies were telling .In return there looking awesome.:bravo:

Hey Otto thanks man! I'm actually a girl :) and yes I know I'm inexperienced but I did a lot of reading and I'm always willing to take advice with a little bit of research ! Everywhere I read to be patient and I know the girls can't talk to me lol so I just tried to chill out and wait for them to show me what's up ... Also the seeds where pretty easy to work with idk if all seeds are as Gud but I had an excellent experience with these nirvana seeds thus far .. All germinated and grew pretty well .. Not having the best of luck with cloning tho ! Of 8 I tried only two is rooted and the others look like their dying :( thanks I'm proud think I'm doing Gud for my 1st

Im passing by, and will sub as well. You have 2 beautifull girls! Bushy and robust!
I feel you on the caribean stuff, my home country is Venezuela, and its so hard to find anything down there, So all I used to use was horse manure, and unfortunatedly chemical ferts.
But there is one thing you can do now, is to start feeding them with molasses about 2 to 3 weeks before harvest, it will feed the fungus/bacteria of your soil, and as an extra provide usefull trace elements.

For the clones, you can use honey as well! amazingly, i've done it before and it has worked.

Ill stay tuned, Irie, Long live Bob!

Hey sinse thanks for stopping by ! Ye I'm pretty close to Venezuela... I've been wondering about the molasses actually did a bit of reading today on the topic ! Can u tell me in detail because I would like to use it ... Currently I'm using house and garden aqua flakes a and b and liquid kool bloom .. They are hydro nutes I bought in Miami for the hydro system I build in which I planned to grow my girls in.. Anyhow they seem to be working just fine in the soil, but IDE like to use the molasses also as I read it works along with your nutes to bring out the goodness :)

I'm also curious about the honey to clone ... Elaborate plz I'm always willing to learn especially since I can't seem to get the cloning rite :(

Thanks again

My experience with molasses has always been positive, I use about 1 tbsp for every 5L. during the last 3 weeks of flowering, to give them extra sweetness, trace elements and faster metabolism.

The honey, its an antibacterial for the most of it, it doesnt have any hormones or anything like that!
I mix water with honey in a cup, about 100 Ml of PH'ed (5 to 6) water and 1tbsp of honey, and leave the cutling in there, Ive done it in the most simple way, just leaving the cutling dip in there, or with Roockwool cubes. (That is ofc, If you dont have any rooting hormones)

There are many things to look for when cloning, first is how you prepare the mother before taking the clone of her, It should be 2 month older or more, dont feed the mother with any Nitrogen, and spray the leaves every early morning with water to help consume the extra nitrogen.

The older brances (The bottom ones) are the best choice for cloning, once you decided which one will it be, make a 45' cut, with sterilized knife, and then make another cut

Make sure you dont leave it for too long, since it could trap air in the stem, and kill it!!

Clones should always have about 95% RH in the dome, since they dont have any roots all the intake is foliar.

Hope this helps a little, Irie.

Your ladies are looking very happy. Lovin' being able to compare. Sorry to hear your clones are having difficulties. Can I ask what you are using for your cloning? :peace:

Hey cranky I'm using a product called baby bio rooter , it's the only rooting hormone I can find here and I got some cloned spray also .

Thanks for the info again sinse .. I did most if not all of what u described there with the cloning ... I cut the bottom branches of my girls when they were about 5 weeks from seed ... Immediately put into water cut off piece in the water dip in baby bio rooter liquid then in rockwool ... I think my problem was temperature and dryness ... Unfortunately I was gettin in heAted by putting a light under a tray with my clones... Never constant temperature and sometimes after a few hrs they would b very dry :( I got 2 of my 8 rooted and I'm still hoping for 1 more :) I will definitely buy a humidity dome next time I visit Miami hydro store .. I would like to try the honey tho maybe I will on my next run ! Thanks again :)

You can make one!, cut a 2l or 1gallon juice bottle by half or lower, and use one per plant. That should help the humidity stay inside :)

The more mistakes we make, the more we learn from them. Cloning is simple, but its not easy to get right the first times.
5 weeks from seed, would be too early for me, I usually give them 8 weeks of veg (+1 seedling week).

Stay high ~:peace:~

Yup I'm deffinitely learning from my mistakes .. I think it does Need a little more veg time but I read I can do it once its a month but next time I will surely wait longer ! Actually the larger cuttings of the 8 are the ones that looks like they will make it ! Thank god I have extra seeds as I only used 4 of the 10 I bought from nirvana :) I'm thinking my 2 new seedlings ill try to veg them for 2 months and get clones from that for another grow !

Deffinitely stayin high :)

Loving the grow:thumb:
I found a huge difference between quality seeds to random bag seeds when it comes to germinating. I agree that information is everything when first starting out and i personally say that this forum has been my most valuable tool for me so far
