1st Grow, Micro Grow Skunk#1 Fast, Seedsman

Aloha Mr. Bright!

It is nerve racking but this plant can handle it! The Seedsman uk cheese I’m growing right now ended being the shortest plant in the garden. I did not top it but what I did do is bend it to a 90 degree angle haha All the lower shoots are catching up.

Sending you positive thoughts and vibes!

Very nice and Thanks!

Ok so I decided to get 4 more leaves and move a stem over with a bamboo stake and some plant tie. In the first pic it shows what I took off and what was exposed after moving the circles branch over a bit ;) shown in second pic. she is 1 month old tomorrow. She will need watering in abou t 2 or 3 days. That will give her time to grow out a bit and recover. Measured my drainage ppm it was at 690ppm. So no nute unless I see something different during bloom. Question. When I water and flip in a couple of days...I am assuming to keep my lighting at full spectrum and is there a time when I would flip to bloom only? Brought Rh down to 55. Next question, during bloom do I want to keep at around 55RH until last 2 weeks then 40RH??

Looks like your plant is doing great! Good job with the training:thumb:
Ok so I got really frustrated with having to bend over or get on my knees to do Anything in this tent.
Sitting the tent on a table is a great idea to save the old knees-I'd have to re-arrange the whole room to fit a table in where my grow box lives,so I'll just have to keep squatting- it is almost like exercise,so there's that....

Oh lord it makes so much of a difference. I can see where it will come in handy when I need to keep things under control lol!

Yes there is that lol. The access to the plant is what I'm most thankful for going into bloom and having to manipulate growth and so much more hands on. I was thinking "I might get a head rush from bending over and land square face into the skunk lol...lol." so up she came lol.

Be careful. I have Vasovagal syncope. If I stand up too fast I fall to the floor like a rag doll. My daughter has it too.
Nice and slow.....

1 month and I am more at ease going to the bloom than when I set up the tent. I know how important this next stage is going to be, but the people on my journal keeping tabs on me (special shout to TurboBucket! And of coarse Virgin ground , carcass! And to the rest for just keeping an eye on my journal) have really brought me down to earth. There are things I will change on my next Micro. But for the most part at this stage of the game, I'm to say the least, a little proud. I'm also humbled and happy to have folks like you as a part of my journal. Well here she goes. I set my timer for 12/12 starting at 630 PM (dark outside) to 630 AM (still dark outside).

Please someone reply to this....#1- on my led should I keep in full spectrum and is there anytime I should just go straight to Bloom. This is again one of those confusing lighting switches lol.
#2 should I continue to prune insignificant leaves in bloom or just let run as hard and fast as she can.
Again I really would like some feedback on this soon THANKS! ATTACHED A NOW PIC.

I had a mastoidectomy this spring. I took a header into a Huckleberry Bush and thought " Hey, it's easier picking from here!" Lmao, but after that I went in and had that done...much better, but still...lol, face front into the skunk wouldn't do not one bit lmao

Give her as much light as you can, both barrels. Haha.

If there is a leaf in the way of a bud site go ahead and get rid of it, especially right now when everything is going to start stretching. I try to trim before the stretch and after the stretch but not during. Most people say 21 days after flower starts that's a good rule of thumb.

Skunk#1 Feminized Fast - seedsman finishes flowering in 7 weeks. Will that make a difference in this topic. And full spec upto harvest correct? In my vast research I thought I read full spec up to last week then full Bloom? Would there be a reason for this due to the fact that my thought process is the same on this.

Yea likely the idea behind bloom only for the last week is most people prefer a more red spectrum for flower. It also echoes the longer wavelengths we receive during the fall season. The problem in your instance is you would be removing half the energy from the equation. It would be like finishing the last part of a race at half speed.

The fast genetics are just that, faster than usual, supposedly. I had some c99xblueberry fast from seedsman, wasn't fast. haha. They finished the same time the rest of them did. I think they mix some ruderalis in there to speed it up, not positive though. But "fast" strains are still considered photo periods.

I understand and will be happier just going full spectrum to harvest. I am a little nervous, never doing it but each step I've gone through to this point is a lesson well learned and not to be forgotten any time soon

Just reading through the journal. Looks great so far..good job on the training too. When I cut ( mostly topping & defoliation ) I like to do it on water days as she's losing a little when you take things off. So I try to add a little back after I cut her.

Ok ... not about my plant or grow...I've experienced some amonia smells from different strains in recent months. I always attributed that to improper drying and curing. I am now to understand that folks are saying mold is the cause of this smell. I have heard of strains called cat piss, due to the aroma, but this is fairly new to me, as I say within the past few months with different strains. Example, I acquired some GSC that was obviously not dried properly and thus never cured. I noticed a faint amonia aroma and inspected the buds...no mold. Put it in a paper bag for a couple of hours and burped and I never noticed it again. My question is...I have seen moldy weed and bud rot...this is not that nor did any of the moldy weed I have seen smell like amonia smells i've been introduced to lately...I really in 40 years of smoking never smelled that type of smell emanating from weed until just recently. Cat piss strain smell but from different strains with no cat piss lineage. Any ideas?

1 week into flower. Been opening up the middle and letting her go. No more trimming unless I take the water leaves at week 3...but that's another topic, (yell here if you want lol). As far as tying her down....ok....its a pain in my ass. I HATE that stretch net. Another lesson learned. I will be truthful and say I am almost ready to just stake down and get rid of that net. Next time I will do things a lot different. In fact...I could almost just toss the whole shittin cabutle and start over. But I want to go through the whole exerience so I can just do it first hand to the very end. Until you see it first hand and do it ... well...I do know now what I can and cant get away with up to this point however lol, absolutely wonderful knowledge. Thanks again to all my good people who follow and advise.

Yea the bungee nets leave something to be desired. They work. The squares are usually too big for my liking. I just don't want to have to restring a 4x4 frame every 10 weeks haha reusable and easily removable are must haves for me. The big nets are hard on plants if you plan to hang the whole plant. If you want to chop branches then it's not a big deal.
