No, not yet. Lol. I think I may take the top 3” or so very soon. But below that I see a lot of clear trichomes. Has anyone ever harvested like that? The only reason holding me back is that I want to wash the buds in 5gal buckets but can’t hang them if I do it that way. Lol. But I can see the lower buds continuing to flourish if I do. May just have to lay them out on some paper towels to dry or something.

Thanks Bilbo! I love my little spot. The house isn’t huge but I bought it 15 years ago. I sit on top of a hill like a king. Lol. And I have beautiful sunrises and sunsets both from the back porch.

Happens all the time. It's called a staggered harvest and you do it anytime you have buds at different stages of ripeness and you want to make sure they're all the same when you take them. If you have a completely even canopy you wouldn't or if it didn't matter if some were riper than others. But if you have uppers and lowers and you want all buds at the same x% amber, then staggered is the way to go.

So you can harvest part of a plant and the rest will continue to finish like they were? I kinda have the same thing going on but was afraid of messing her up somehow right at the end. Every time I look at this journal I find something that helps me with my own grow!

This ^^^ often with autos most of the growth happens during flower - I had this happen too on my first one and was in the same headspace as you. That’s a really awesome spot you have to grow it

So hanging those early harvested ones after budwash ... if there’s any stem at all, you can put a peg at an angle and balance hang it off the peg ... I have a pic of it somewhere... it worked for me

Ok. So I checked the girls tonight and surprise surprise. The lower trichomes are now mostly cloudy. Very very light green down there but cloudy none the less. So I will take one down tonight. Say goodbye to Smurfette.
