Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

Just do your homework as you go which im sure you will. .

Oh I will definitely be doing the homework brother. We will be in perpetual cram mode for quite a while LOL.

Having had a close call... save your money on the tomato juice. I don't thing anything works cept a lot of time.

I've grown blueberry.. it started to smell like skunk after like 80 days.... :scratchinghead:

Thats interesting that you got skunk smell from a Blueberry strain, mine is pretty much just straight blueberry scent which I love. I find it amazing how different the scents are on different strains.

Congratulations VS, I do see the effort you "put out" and I'm happy to sit at the table with you (&Ms.Stank) while we work on your project. It's like we've been brought together in camaraderie for what little time we have. I know we have different lives, but what we do share is an unrelenting passion to start our 420 businesses and make this place awesome. This important mission, we share. :Namaste:

BTW, I think everyone nominated deserves to win because it was fate. Our nominations come from merit and karma ...:Namaste:

Thanks G2HM, I appreciate it. You are right, its amazing how this wonderful plant can bring so different people together from all different walks of life and who share their love of growing them!

On a side note, thank you again for all your input into the design. Both myself and Ms Stank aren't the most creative people so any idea is far better than what we have come up with at this point! By the way, loving my coconut oil!! Just gotta get my dose timing down.

Finally got caught up with what you're up to, your journal got busy!!!

The only thing about seeds here is that supply is larger than demand. So you can have a freezer full of a thousand seeds but you might never sell 10% of them in the estimated 5 years they're good for. So in the meantime you are already factoring overhead like keeping the freezers running, but you also have to consider things like advertising. I know a few seed sellers and breeders around WA that are more or less word of mouth, so I think it's really things like advertising that cost so much and lead the Seger banks to charge so much.

Meanwhile, what's this I'm hearing about your soil running out in 3 gallon pots?! That worries me, my mix wasn't nearly as rich as yours and I am barely 3 weeks into flower. I am running Panama x Malawi in it and hear it can be a heavy feeder.

I am waiting to run ACE's Golden Tiger too. Except I have the original F1 run. They aparently found some old ones in their freezer so we're selling 25 for 40 euros, guaranteeing 40% germination. I'm willing to bet I get higher than that, I had way older seeds that were never stored well germinate for me.

I think 3 gallon pots will be fine if you keep the veg time short. I vegged mine way longer than I should have. I think if I would have transplanted into the 3 gallon pot and flipped 2 weeks later, the girls would be doing fine. The battle for Mordor vs the mites took 5, almost 6 weeks longer than I wanted to spend in veg.

For future grows, I have determined I won't use 3 gallon pots since I don't use nutes on my grows and only recently started using teas. I think 5 gallon pots will be the smallest pot I will use in flower from here on out. I could see maybe using 3 gallon pots if I was doing a quick flip SOG set up, but not sure if or when I would run that.

You’ll be doing that come pheno hunt tome .

Yeah I was referring to while the growing for me and for personal use. Unfortunately none of the laws are in place yet to address any of my questions. I figure when it comes time to pheno hunt, I will be running 50-100 at a time.

Yeah, I decided to switch to 5 gallon buckets on my last journal but it didn't really help out since I went from 6x 3gallon pots down to 4x 5 gallon pots and all I really got out of it was more of a sore back lugging them around. But I was using EarthJuice nutrients for that run so I don't know how they'll react to gallons of just soil.

Flower Day 47 Update - Day 40 with Hairs

A day late on this update, but better late than never. Still cruising along relatively well. Buds are still stacking and fattening up. I just don't like the yellowing of the ATF leaves so early. Will continue to water with the flower tea recipe I have been using. Hopefully it will get them through til the end! If not, guess I will have a big ATF harvest a bit early!

Anyways, here they are, in their frosty glory! Hope everyone has a great evening! Happy Growings!
