I really like the pck x erdpurt, its not a power house but has a nice chill relaxing effect with fuel like aroma and taste.

The way they are doing legal canna in our state, it's going to be a while until there's flowers on the legal market. The 20 or so folks that have a growers license had to pony up at least a million dollars to get started, then build grow facilities, and still not up and running.... and there was politics during the whole licensing process = corruption.

All these people (and government officials) wont want federal legalization, that would ruin all that hard work and money spent. They would never recover financially. Wait.... lemme go get my crying towel. :rolleyes3

Sub'd for that Durban... I'm running a strain now, the mother is 1/2 DP, looks a lot like yours do. Blueberry r little stinkers...might even get a little skunk smell in there, maybe??

My brother and I talked about starting a grow operation here in Massachusetts but after all the regulations and red tape he and his partner dealt with, I didn't want any part of it. The licensing, regulations, and other bullshit requirements aren't worth the potential gains financially in my opinion. I know that there will end up being a lot of regulations and bullshit requirements in legal breeding but it won't be on the same level and we can keep the operation on a smaller scale. Now I just gotta start wading through the red tape for this future endeavor.

Yeah I am closing in on harvest on a few of the strains. The Blue Kush, Blueberry, and Durban should be done in 2-3 weeks and the ATF have about a month. Hoping I can nurse the ATF through til the end...worried about the soils remaining nutes, hence the incorporation of the teas. This is what I get for thinking "ah I am going to do a quick turn around on these so 3 gallon pots should be fine for the short veg and grow". Had to run them in veg for about a month-month and a half longer than I intended as I was battling mites. I knew I should have up-potted due to the long run but decided to try it anyways. Soil is losing steam quick in the 3 gallon pots. Hope the teas will get me through the next 30 days LOL

Yeah your opinion of it made me want to try it for a night time med. I love the blueberry, but I want to expand the medicine cabinet and test out more indicas that aren't going to have me drooling on myself in 20 minutes and snoring in 30 minutes.

I'm sure they'll follow suit, for tax gains as you've mentioned.

I read FL only allows vaping and edibles to be consumed for Medical Marijuana patients, but don't allow smoking flower at the moment. WTF?!

This is what I pulled off 6 branches about the size of the below branches

Then Ms Stank and I cut 4 small bud sites last night and got about 120 more usable seed. Up to about 230 good looking seeds so far and a shit ton still on there. There were still more premature seeds than I like on the two branches last night so I am going to wait til this weekend to test them again.

Yeah there will be a lot of them. We are over 230 already from 10 small bud sites. I think there is a real shot at close to 2000 really nice seeds by the time they are all done and harvested. And the female plant was on the small side compared to the other sisters. I can't imagine how many seeds I would have gotten if I would have used a big plant. I could realistically see a big plant pulling in upwards of 10k seeds.

Yes....which is why I am serious about pursuing this venture. I understand the costs associated with R&D and basic overhead and the ultimate goal is to make money, but come on.....lets be serious here. If I grew out 5 clones from my 'breeding mother' and direct pollinated it from a clone of the breeding father, and I averaged 3k seeds per plant, you are talking about producing 15k seeds every 2-3 months, especially if you are perpetually breeding your big sellers. So lets say 15k seeds times 4 cycles.....60k seeds!!!! Even selling at an average of 5 bucks a seed, that single strain could be bringing you in 300k. Then assume how many strains you are going to sell regularly. Even if you only develop 10-15 really solid and stable strains, thats a lot of potential. Granted, you have to fund further R&D for new strains as well as packaging, advertising, electricity, taxes, etc.....but I can't imagine thats enough to cause you charge 15 bucks a seed or 20 or even higher. Hell I have seen the price on some of those Snow High seeds. Almost 200 bucks for 5 regulars.....40 bucks a seed. Just seems like robbery to me. I am not saying in any terms that I can compete with the established breeders in terms of their expertise and knowledge and even resources....but I gotta think that I can provide a high enough quality product at a fair enough price. Of course I could get 2-3 years into this venture and figure out I am wrong and you need to charge more than 10 bucks a seed, but I don't see that happening!

Having had a close call... save your money on the tomato juice. I don't thing anything works cept a lot of time.

I've grown blueberry.. it started to smell like skunk after like 80 days.... :scratchinghead:
