1080w LED Inferno

i wanted to shar some info with you Hempy growers, i started to feed my girls every day on a drip system for 2 min a day and their loving it so much. the look so happy every since i did this. some of you might want to try feeding everyday in one spot on the medium.

check out how big and happy they are. welcome to my biggest led grow ive done to date. their led monsters!!!:) i took some close ups to show how she starting to flower.

i cant remember what size pump i think its a 250 GPH or something around their. i dont actually use dripper its just and open 1/4" hose in each bucket.

i am doing a few different ones. 4 buckets are a mix of sunshine#4 mix and perlite and the others are almost all perlite. i dont really see a huge difference but the SS/perlite mix buckets are better looking plants if i had to chose. all of it is consider hydro. i dont grow with soil. i always use soiless mixes, like sun shine#4.

On the plants, :woohoo: they are rockin' now. You may want to get your stakes setup around those buckets as those tops are gonna get heavy! Congrats so far and showing how LED tech has grown. (Oh I made a pun :bigblush: )

I'm planning on moving my plants to hempy buckets this weekend. With your vote of support concerning the auto-watering, I'll try to get my version of that going right away!

no once a week i am changing my res. its an 18gal bucket. the plants get an auto flush threw the drip hole on the hempy buckets. at the end of every week i feed them one time with just plan water to kinda clean things a little better. seems to be working great for me so far.

Keep up the work bro. Sounds so complicated. I like set and forget type setups, but I wouldn't stop what your doing bro!

How tall are those ladies, and how far away is the light at this point?

you should try it some time its cheap to make maybe $30-40 for everything if u buy on the web it could be allot cheaper.

maybe 20% some more then others since a few drink more then others. all i am doing is toping them off every day, then at the end of the week i feed them with PH water for one feeding.

i am not sure exactly how tall but over 3' the lights are around 12" from the tops

Hey Irishboy, found this post from a while back and was wondering if you could answer your own question now? Was it just from explosive growth or maybe the plant's response to the intense light while all the tender new leaves fully form and harden? I can imagine new leaves experiencing light like we do when when coming from the dark ... like the leaves are "squinting" their eyes.

i couldn't tell you why their doing that for sure. my guess is thats what plants look like when their happy as hell.lol. its like their all smiling and jumping for joy.lol
 
Probably just means that you're giving them 1000+ watts of intense f'king light over eight or nine square feet, lmao.

I wonder... If you removed the center LED, moved the other two a little closer together, and raised them slightly so as to cover the current space, would the plants flip all those solar panels (leaves) back down to "maximum absorption" orientation?

ya that probably it.lol

i was wondering the same thing i wounder what they would do? but arnt they now at "maximum absorption" ? wouldn't they be taking in more light pointed up like that? dosent it make less shading so the other lower leaves get more light?
do you think its a bad thing for them to be pointing up like that? have u seen this before? i haven't not like this.

every day their pushing out more and more hairs! its about time they flower!lol.. this much light this close doent seems to bother them one bit.
 
hi. Nice grows Irishboy. I was looking at the website, I couldn't find the 360W light availalbe? Also, I couldn't find the 600w available from your previous grow.

They did have a 300W like for $999, that seems a bit high, have you tested any of those? thansk

the 300w uses 360w so their the same light. i am using 300's right now but just a few of them. each one of my panels is their 300w. their are a few members on here using their 300w vs 400 HID do a search and u will find all kinds of grows using that light on here. hope that helps?
