Thanks

Sounds similar to a x site water farm with a main res. I havent heard of the bulb before but it sounds close to a bulb ive been trying to use for some time. Philips CMH/RETRO WHITE but they only make them for 400w highest. I know some growers would love to get there hands on the bulb your using if its in 600w as well as 1000w. I would like to see some specs on that bulb. I guess im learning new things from you as well. Have some reps :)

Nice plants. Is that the Next gen God plant?

Yep it's Grape God, all the good London seed banks have it. I've just got the new replacement for the Son-T Agro which comes in 400-600-1000w. Son T is not dimable though so have moved to the latest version, Phillips Gavita Digi enhanced HPS. It's designed for the new digital ballasts and is dimable. Apparently it's the best grow lamp available for digi ballasts, I hope so! It's great idea to be abel to dim the power output, lets the hardening stage go a day or so slower and that helps the stem thicken before it hardens and rushes away. I'm really into imitating nature inside so your light ragtime is very interesting, I will be trying it.

Yea I can follow you on the mimicking nature. I read alot and I wanted to do a experiment about the moon light. Read some where that the moon does something to plants as well. Theres these moon light bulbs that gives off a soothing moonlight and cool temp for night time. I wanted to see if it stimulates the plants in any type of way. Ill be purchasing one soon. I figure it shouldnt interrupt the night period.

I hope that Philips bulb works for magnetic ballast.

The Son-T Agro works with the magnetic ballasts, you can get 400-600-1000w as well so spoilt for choice
Maybe, it would be a great experiment, the moon light that is.
Anyway, must sleep, it's 2am here. It's been great cheating and we should do it again some time. I have email notification and subscription to your grow so im sure will continue to learn. Hopefully forever!
See you in the Dam HTCC one day ;)

I've been a private grower for 23 years now, hydro only, sea of green in a pot in pot system. Small plants, 60cm max but have just built the courage to go,public and learn and share knowledge. See I'm learning all ready lol. I've just purchased a new set up and needed to expand my knowledge to grow bigger plants and less of them. 50 plants is commercial here in NSW so I have to watch my self. My new set up I will, post on a journal. It's a coco coir 28 lt air pot system with Tropf Blumat auto drippers. I'm in a 2.4 m *2.4 m grow lab with 4*600w Quantum digi ballasts with the new Phillips Gavita digi HPS bulbs. Day night thermo fan and heating controle and can max extraction. External Eva cooling and gas co2 burners for heat and co2, obviously. It's all on its way from supplier so will post shots in the journal as I set up. Plants under way in my hydro at the moment to get the clones together for the set up. Should be set up next week. I grow Next Gen Grapr God for two years now but my people want some current winners so I'm germinating Cali Girl Scout Cookies and DNA Holly Grail Kush to keep them happy. They should be nice from all accounts. Any suggestions one high CBD medical as I'm growing for a great friend who has cancer, it's the only medicine that works for all him pain etc. he's in a government experiment that will help lead to legal meds we hope. Anyway, that me. Will post journal next week. Would be great to get input from you guys as you all sound very experienced and up to date. I'm an old fart and have been paranoid of the Internet until now.
Cheers
Mr Messy

Mr Messy,

Wow, sounds like we'll be learning from you in no time. Welcome to :420:

Evening
wiz and all . Welcome Mr. Messy, you were asking about high CBD strains. Harlequin is one but is probably only found here in the northwest. It has 10% CBDs and I'm growing another one I got from bonza seeds called Royal Medic. It's suppose to have equal amounts of thc and cbd. It's content is around 8.8% both thc and cbd. Hope that helps a little

Thanks guys, it's great to have joined such a well informed group of growers and I'm allready learning heaps!!!
Hope I can keep up. There's a lot to read. Will read the PH info, could do with more info, it's a great topic.with hydro I just monitor and adjust but experience with mediums that hold so much like coco. It's new to me. I think lighting companies like Phillips are progressing everyday and its people like us driving the industry so these forums are great
Thanks again everyone, great to be aboard

Awsome, thanks will look for them!
Wish we could share genetics :(

These REPS
How does this work, is it the star at the bottom?

Thanks wiz, ill be sure to hit the stars man!!
Coffe, cones and grow forums, best breakfast I've had in years.
Hay wiz, where's the PH discussion that was mentioned ?

Thanks wild bill, shame when the governments of the world keep us from our passion. What we do is what we are!
Tis is awesome, real early training. I'm a great fan of tipping and training a you will see when my journal goes up, if your keen?. I tip every branch form the the third node twice. It give me 8 early soft clones and sets them up for expansion real well it this is extreme! Nice, thanks for the knowledge.
