Okay I'm not sure about the other apps, but you also seem to have an apple device. So Photone app is available - and I guess ”protone” was supposed to be photone(?)

Anyway 10inches from the lamp @ 100% can't be 16-18k luxes and PAR only about ~100umol/m2/s. During the flowering mature cannabis plant won't photosynthesize properly if it's receiving less than 200ppfd (umol/m2/s).
You may have a too thick paper diffuser? Are you using reg copy paper?

Both leds had efficacy of ~2.7-2.8umol/j so with that distance they should be hitting like +1000ppfd and two of them at 100% should be close to like 100k luxes or more.

As you had an IOS device I'd recommend using Photone app.
Even with the free version you'll get pretty accurate results if you select the CMH option(s) or "CFL red".

The app itself already has good instructions on how to get started.

Hope this helps at all :)

Cant seem to get the phone to work well with the app.
Keeps changing to different cameras i think is my problem.
Depending on how i tilt the phone to see the reading.
It jumps up and down alot.
Upgraded a few months back.
Will give it another go lights on.

Sure seems to be working nicely so far. Happy plants indeed. Nice work mate. I've been toying with the idea of setting up a similar kind of drip system to water hempy buckets. I may come to you for pointers if I pull the trigger on that.

Its just so time consuming feeding in coco.
Only down side.
So i can image hempy being just as bad.
If i can help in any way just ask.

Wont lie most of my ideas came from on this forum.
Game changer for me was the multi flow nossle i have on my setup.
Really helps when it comes to dailing in the feeding,

I just picked up the UNI-T lux meter. It is the best Lux meter that is closest to the SQ-500 apogee PAR meter. Shane from Migro tested several and came to the conclusion its the best route to go if your converting Lux to PAR.
I tested it up against my calibrated Hydrofarm PAR meter i made. Its dead on.

Im going to calibrate the UNI-T meter now. Just for fun really. BUT, this one, is going to be calibrated against the SQ-610 Epar Apogee meter, which reads beyond 400-700, so it gives slightly higher readings because of the UV and IR. After i got my maths done, I have found that once again, my HydroFarm calibrated PAR meter is PERFECT. But with this one, I have started using a diffused Expoxy mixture that I have tweaked to perfection. I dont like the HydroFarm meter because of the cord comes loose inside, where as the UNI-T model is fixed to the meter.

Also friend i only have the free app.
Sun Direct is the only reading i can take . yes photone lol.
skunksta = mean for software/apps.
The good old days everything was cracked/hacked.
Free warez showing my age now. :)

Isn't UV is 315-380nm.
Anyway sounds like youve got the proper gear!

Ohh that wont give you accurate readings because it measures whole wider color scale.
I guess it's your phone then because the app seem to work. Check for updates?

Lol works or not I bet youve got ligh a light to illuminate a small town :laughtwo:

UV is visible, or, measureable from 380 to 400. but can get as low as 260nm
far-red Measureable spectrum is 700-850
sq-500 reads only 400-700
sq-610 reads 380-750

Far Red is about 11% more visible using the sq-610 then the sq-500
and about 3% more UV with sq-610

So, if your using a light with alot of far-red, the par is higher then the sq-500 or any par meter for that fact other then the sq-610

Next project ready to go.
All thanks to @Weed Seeds Express
Really can’t go wrong buying from these guys.
Only issue I have seen. Is postage to Australia.
But Australia has a serious customs service.
And most seed houses have issues.

And if you want results like this do yourself a fav.
Get yourself a @Mars Hydro light.
Also dont forget a @Mars Hydro fan.
Results dont lie.
Happy growing people.

PS. i will use the front camera instead of my 3 back ones.
As this phone has a front camera good enough.
My Old phone never , guess its why i never had the best results.
But it will be just a direct sunlight test as im using the free app.
